Import Process File
Import file feature allows user to import process files in zip format or external process files directly into the Innowera Web and Mobile Server and synchronize files in the multiple Innowera Web and Mobile Server servers.
- Go to Publisher > Import.
User can import the following:
Process App
Process APPs can be exported for editing the HTML pages to enhance as per business requirement; Once the editing is concluded, they can be imported to Innowera Web and Mobile Server in zip format using this option. The changes made in the Process APP will be updated immediately on Web and Device. In case if the Process APP is already present in Innowera Web and Mobile Server, then it will overwrite all the files that are imported. This option is displayed only if 'Allow To import process app' option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin > Role Master.
To import a file,
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- Select Process App from the Select Option drop-down menu.
- Select Choose a file and navigate to select zip file. The process apps that were exported using Export.
- Select Import. On trying to import a zip file, a confirmation window is displayed with the details of the files. Select Yes.
- The Process APP package will be imported successfully.
Package Only Option
- To create Process APP package for update, zip multiple files together present at root directory to create one compressed file as shown in below image.
For Designer Option
- Add additional files or images used for the customization of process files for web or mobile in
AppFilesfolder of WebRunner or MobileRunner. - To create Process APP package for update, zip multiple files together present at root directory to create one compressed file as shown in below image.
Process File
Process Files are scripts that automate various SAP Business Transactions. After importing the Process File using this option; they are displayed as Not Published FilesProcess File Management page. This option is displayed only if "Allow To import process files" option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin > Role Master.
To import a Process File,
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- Select Process File from the Select Option drop-down menu.
- Select Choose a file and navigate to select the process file.
- Select Import.
- When imported, the process file can be seen in Process Management page with the status as 'Not Published Files', and can be used to generate API or HTML pages also.
Web Services
Web services are XML- based data exchange systems that use internet for direct application-to-application or platform-to-platform interaction. These services are directly created from process runner and can be imported in Innowera WMS. This option is displayed only if "Allow To import web services" option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin >> Role Master.
To import a file,
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- Select Web Services from the Select Option drop-down menu.
- Select Choose a file... to select the file.
- Select Import.
Note: The web services that are exported through Manage Process and Service > Service Management can only be imported using Web Service option of import. Innowera Web and Mobile Server version of web service exported should be equal to or lower than the current Innowera Web and Mobile Server version, else the web service may not work properly.
Container Patch Update
Container Patch Update feature in Innowera Web and Mobile Server allows you to import the application packages sent by Innowera without the need to download InnoweraApp from your mobile's App Store each time. It also allows you to import patch version for the mobile app which updates the app files residing on Innowera App. This option is displayed only if 'Allow To import container patch update' option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin >> Role Master.
To import an application package,
Following are the generic steps to update the path version for the mobile App:
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- Select Container Patch Version from the Select Option drop-down menu.
- Select the platform Apple or Android based on the devices and select Choose a file button to browse the package sent by Innowera.
- Select Update to upload package for devices. Select Yes to confirm the update.
A status Package has been imported successfully will be displayed with the change in version.
Note: After import, it is mandatory to sync the mobile devices to get all the updated list of processes from IWMS server to devices. If user is already logged in mobile app during import, the changes will be reflected upon logout and login.
To modify the container application package:
- If user wants to modify the container App package provided by Innowera, Unzip the package. App package provided by Innowera when unzipped consist of 'FileVersionData.txt' file along with several files. Raise the version information greater that the current app version in 'FileVersionData.txt' file to update Innowera App. No changes will be applied if version mentioned in .txt file and Current App version is same.
To create Innowera App package for update:
- Zip multiple files together present at root directory to create one compressed file as shown in the image below.
Device Logs
Device logs represent the behavior of Innowera Web and Mobile Server on devices with respect to its entire structure. These logs are designed to be portable so that they can be imported as per the requirement. Below image exhibits the method of importing device logs. This option is displayed only if 'Allow To import device logs' option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin >> Role Master.
To import device logs,
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- SelectDevice Logs from the Select Option drop-down menu to import device logs directly into Innowera Web and Mobile Server.
- Select Choose a file and select the .txt file to import the same from local system.
- Select Import and confirm the action by selecting Yes in the confirmation pop-up window.
Theme
Innowera Web and Mobile Server facilitates its mobile users with range of themes to switch between accent of user interface. These themes can be imported from local system. This option is displayed only if Allow to import theme option is enabled under the role settings of the user at Admin > Role Master.
To import a theme,
- Go to Publisher > Import. The Import Files screen appears.
- SelectTheme from the Select Option drop-down menu to import theme files directly into Innowera Web and Mobile Server.
- Select Choose a file and select the theme file (.css) to import the same from local system.
- Select Importand select Yes to confirm the import of theme.
