This section describes the new features, fixed issues, and known issues for Process Runner Cloud v24.3, released in September 2024.

New Features

Introduction of AI Doc Assist

You can now use the AI Doc Assist feature, an in-product doc assistance chatbot that answers any questions related to Process Runner products. The AI Doc Assist uses articles from the product documentation and the support knowledge base as sources for the responses. For more information, see Use AI Doc Assist in Process Runner Cloud help.

Charts in Dashboard

If your organization has opted for the dashboard feature, account managers can now view, drill down, and export the process file run data of Process Runner desktop users as graphs. Go to Dashboard > Charts to view the following graphs:

• Summary: Three user data graphs categorized by group, SAP system, and module.
• Group Metrics: Graph based on the user groups of your insightsoftwareproducts. You can drill down on a specific user from the group metrics graph.
• Product Metrics: Graph based on your insightsoftware products. You can drill down on specific technologies from the product metrics graph.

Run Statistics Report in Dashboard

If your organization opted for the dashboard feature, account managers can now view the run statistics of the process files run by Process Runner desktop users. You can choose fields like Date, Start time, User, and others to filter the run statistics report. For more information, see Run Statistics in Process Runner Cloud Help.

Number of SAP Calls Per Run in Control Panel

Account Managers and other authorized users can set the number of SAP calls allowed during a process file run for Process Runner and Process Runner Excel Add-in users. You can specify the values centrally at Global Controls or at the user level in the Product User Settings in Control Panel.

Number of Threads Per Run in Control Panel

Account Managers and other authorized users can set the number of threads allowed during a process file run for Process Runner and Process Runner Excel Add-in users. You can specify the values centrally at Global Controls or at the user level in the Product User Settings in Control Panel.

Fixed Issues

Add Script in Data Governance Rules

When you add or update a data governance rule in Control Panel > Data Governance > Rules, the complete VB.net script entered in the Code section of the Add rule or Edit rule screens is not displayed due to a character limit.

Known Issues

Maximum Parallel Thread of a Process

Even if you enter more than three threads per run in the Global Controls or Product User Settings, the Max parallel thread value for a process is limited to three. As a workaround, enter the maximum parallel thread value of a process to zero, indicating no restrictions at the process level.
