View Dashboard

This section is applicable for account managers or users with additional permissions.

The Dashboard feature in Cloud Hub allows you to view the reports and graphical overviews of how the users of your organization are using the insightsoftware products such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, Process Runner DB, and Easy Workflow. The Dashboard feature allows you to view and evaluate all the runs in the application as well as historical information from all users, centrally in one place.

Note: Currently, Dashboard is only supported in Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in and Easy Workflow.

Summary

The Summary section of Dashboard displays information about how users are using insightsoftware products, such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in and Easy Workflow. You can select the duration and other parameters from the Filters feature to gather the relevant data from the summary section.

Perform the following steps to view and export the summary graphs:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard. The Summary page appears with three graphs displaying a weekly data of Group Metrics, SAP System Metrics, and Module Specific Metrics.

  2. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:
    • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
    • Group: Select the groups.
    • SAP System: Select the SAP systems.
    • Start dateandEnd date: Select the period for gathering data.
    • Module: Select the technologies.
    • View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly.
  3. Select Go. The Summary page displays the following three graphs of user data as per the parameters set in the Filters section:
    • Group Metrics
    • SAP System Metrics
    • Module Specific Metrics
  4. Optionally, select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats to export the graph:
    • PDF
    • PNG

    The summary graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Group Metrics

The Group Metrics section of Dashboard displays information about the calls made to SAP by different user groups of insightsoftware products, such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in and Easy Workflow. You can further drill-down on a specific user of the group and view the run statistics report from the Group Metrics page.

Perform the following steps to view, drill down to specific details, and export the group metrics data:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Charts > Group Metrics. The Group Metrics page appears with a graph displaying weekly data of calls made to SAP by all the user groups.

  2. In the Group Metrics page, perform the following:
    • To filter the group metrics data based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:
        • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
        • Group: Select the specific groups.
        • SAP System: Select the SAP systems.
        • Start date and End date: Select the period for gathering data.
        • Module: Select the technologies.
        • View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
      2. Select Go. The Group Metrics page displays the graph as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    • To drill down on a specific user from the group:
      1. In the Group Metrics graph, select a group. The Group Metrics: <Name of the group> graph appears with the details of the calls made to SAP by each user in the group.
      2. Optionally, in the Group Metrics: <Name of the group> graph, select a user. The Group Metrics page redirects to the Run Statistics page with the details of the calls made by the user as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    • To export the graph displayed in the Group Metrics page:
      1. Select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
        • PDF
        • PNG

    The group metrics graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Product Metrics

The Product Metrics section of Dashboard displays information about the calls made to SAP by different insightsoftware products, such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in and Easy Workflow. You can further drill-down on specific technologies and view the run statistics report of the technology from the Product Metrics page.

Perform the following steps to view product metrics, drill down to data on specific technologies, and export the product metrics data:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Charts > Product Metrics. The Product Metrics page appears with a graph displaying weekly data of calls made to SAP by your insightsoftware products.

  2. In the Product Metrics page, perform the following:
    • To filter the product metrics data based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:

        Product: Select the insightsoftware product.

        Group: Select the specific groups.

        SAP System: Select the SAP systems.

        Start date and End date: Select the period for gathering data.

        Module: Select the technologies.

        View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.

      2. Select Go. The Product Metrics page displays the graph as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    • To drill down on specific technologies from the product graph:
      1. In the Product Metrics graph, select a product. The Product Metrics: <Name of the product> graph appears with the details of the calls made to SAP by the transaction type.
      2. Optionally, in the Product Metrics:<Name of the product > graph, select a transaction type. The Product Metrics page redirects to the Run Statistics page with the details of the calls made using the selected transaction type and as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    • To export the graph displayed in the Product Metrics page:
      1. Select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
        • PDF
        • PNG

    The product metrics graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Top Reports

The Top Reports section of the Dashboard displays graphical information about the most frequently used Process Runner products, groups, and technologies for SAP calls in your organization. You can select the duration, module, and other parameters from the Filters feature of the Top Products, Top Groups, and Top Technologies tabs to gather the relevant graph.

This section has the following topics:

Top Products

The Top Products section of Top Reports displays graphical information of insightsoftware products of your organization, such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow, that make the most and least calls to SAP. To view the products that make the most and least calls to SAP and export the graph, perform the following steps:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Charts > Top Reports. The Top Products page appears with a graph displaying monthly data of calls made to SAP by the top two insightsoftware products of your organization.
  2. In the Top Products page, perform the following:
    1. To modify the top products data based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:
        • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
        • Group: Select the specific groups.
        • Module: Select the technologies.
        • Start date and End date: Select the period for gathering data.
        • View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
        • Show: Select either Top or Least from the drop-down list.
        • Products: Select the number of insightsoftware products to appear in the graph that made the most or least calls to SAP.
      2. Select Go. The Top Products page displays the graph as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    2. To drill down on a specific insightsoftware product:

      1. In the Top Products graph, select an insightsoftware product. A pie chart appears with the details of the technologies used by the insightsoftware product you have selected.
      2. Optionally, select any of the technology in the pie chart. The Top Products page redirects to the Run Statistics page with the run details of the selected technology for the selected insightsoftware product.
    3. To export the graph displayed in the Top Products page:
      1. Select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
        • PDF
        • PNG

      The Top Products graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Top Groups

The Top Groups section of Top Reports displays graphical information of the groups within theinsightsoftware products of your organization, such as Process Runner,Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow, that make the most and least calls to SAP.

Perform the following steps to view the groups that make the most and least calls to SAP, drill down to the data on specific users of the group, and export the Top Groups graph:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Charts > Top Reports > Top Groups tab. The Top Groups page appears with a graph displaying monthly data of calls made to SAP by the top two groups.
  2. In the Top Groups page, perform the following:
    1. To modify the top groups data based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:

        • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
        • Group: Select the specific groups to filter the data.
        • Module: Select the specific technologies to filter the data.
        • Start date and End date: Select the period for gathering data.
        • View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
        • Show: Select either Top or Least from the drop-down list.
        • Groups: Select the number of groups to appear in the graph that made the most or least calls to SAP.
      2. Select Go. The Top Groups page displays the graph as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    2. To drill down on a specific group:
      1. In the Top Groups graph, select a group. A pie chart appears with the user details of the selected group.
      2. Optionally, select any of the users in the pie chart. The Top Groups page redirects to the Run Statistics page with the run details of the selected user.
    3. To export the graph displayed in the Top Groups page:
      1. Select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
        • PDF
        • PNG

      The Top Groups graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Top Technologies

The Top Technologies section of Top Reports displays graphical information of the technologies that make the most and least calls to SAP by insightsoftware products of your organization, such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in and Easy Workflow.

Perform the following steps to view the technologies that make the most and least calls to SAP, drill down to data on specific Tcodes, and export the Top Technologies graph:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Charts > Top Reports > Top Technologies tab. The Top Technologies page appears with a graph displaying monthly data of calls made to SAP by the top two technologies.
  2. In the Top Technologies page, perform the following:
    1. To modify the top technologies data based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:

        • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
        • Group: Select the specific groups.
        • Module: Select the technologies.
        • Start date and End date: Select the period for gathering data.
        • View: Select the view. For example: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
        • Show: Select either Top or Least from the drop-down list.
        • Technologies: Select the number of technologies to appear in the graph that made the most or least calls to SAP.
      2. Select Go. The Top Technologies page displays the graph as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    2. To drill down on a specific technology:
      1. In the Top Technologies graph, select a technology. A pie chart appears with the details of the Tcodes used by the selected technology.
      2. Optionally, select any of the Tcodes in the pie chart. The Top Technologies page redirects to the Run Statistics page with the run details of the selected Tcode.
    3. To export the graph displayed in the Top Technologies page:
      1. Select the Export icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
        • PDF
        • PNG

      The Top Technologies graph is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Run Statistics

The Run statistics report of Dashboard displays all the information on runs initiated by users in your organization using insightsoftware products such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow.

Perform the following steps to view and export the run statistics reports:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Reports > Run statistics. The Run statistics page appears with the list of run details initiated by the users for the last 30 days.
  2. In the Run statistics page, perform the following:
    1. To filter the run details based on the product, start date, end date, groups or users:
      1. Select Filters on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can filter the run details by Products, Start date, End date, Group or User.When you select a group, only the names of the users in that group appear in the User drop-down list.
      2. Select Search. The Run statistics page displays the details of the runs as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    2. To filter the details of the runs listed on the Run statistics page:
      1. Select Configuration of fields on the left pane. The Configuration of fields dialog appears.
      2. Select one or more of the options such as Date, Start time, User and others detailed below:
        • Date: The date on which the statistics was uploaded.
        • Start time: The time when the run was started.
        • End time: The time when the run was completed.
        • Total time: The total time that was taken to run the process file.
        • File type: The type of the process file. For example, Transaction or BAPI/RFM.
        • Location: Indicates the process file location. For example, Local or Eshare.
        • File name: The full path of the process file that was run.
        • Excel file name/Table name: Indicates whether the Process file was an internal Excel Book or was an external Excel file.
        • SAP system: The SAP system used for the run.
        • Client: The SAP client details used for the run.
        • SAP user: The SAP user details used for the run.
        • Process: The SAP Transaction, BAPI name or Table/View. For examples, MM02 or SM30.
        • Total calls: The total number of calls made during the process file run.
        • No. of threads: The number of parallel threads processed simultaneously during the run.
        • Group: The group that the user belongs to. The default group is <Account name>_DefaultGroup.
        • Error count: The number of errors generated during the run.
        • Run mode: The mode of run used to run the process file. For example, normal run or debug run.
        • SAP time: The time taken by the SAP system to complete the run.
        • Records: The number of records that were downloaded from the SAP system.
        • User: The Platform user who initiated the run.
        • Project: The project identifier of the process file as specified in the insightsoftware product.
        • Ticket ID: The ticket identifier of the process file as specified in the insightsoftware product.
        • Note: The notes provided for the process file as specified in the insightsoftware product.
        • Process ID: The ID of the process file.
        • Chain session ID: The session identifier of the chain process file.
        • Product name: The name of the insightsoftware product from which the statistics was uploaded.
        • Delay time: The delay that occurred during the process file run.
        • SAP message ID: The message identifier that is returned by the SAP system after the run is completed. For example, AA or M3.
        • SAP message no: The message number that is returned by the SAP system after the run is completed. For example, 305 or 104.
        • SAP message type: The message type that is returned by the SAP system after the run is completed. For example, E or I.
        • SAP message text: The message text that is returned by the SAP system after the run is completed.
        • Session ID: The session identifier of the run.
        • Is first error: The error that occurred during the process file run.
      3. Optionally, select Select/Clear all to select or clear all the check-boxes in the Configuration of fields dialog.

      4. Select Save. The Run statistics page displays the details of runs as per the parameters set in the Configuration of fields dialog.

      Note: Select the right arrow icon next to each run details to view the fields that are not selected in the Configuration of fields dialog.

      Note: The sensitive data fields such as File name, Excel file name/Table name, and SAP user are encrypted in the database. These fields displayed in the Run statistics page have the following limitations:

      • You need to enter the exact text in the SAP user search field to get the matching records.
      • When you search a file name or an Excel file name using the search function of the field, the data filtered only comes from the current Run statistics page.
      • You cannot sort the data in File name and Excel file name field.
    3. To export the run statistics report, perform the following:

      1. Select one of the following options that appear on the left pane above the list of run statistics.
        • XLSX
        • CSV
        • PDF

The run statistics report is exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

Audit Log

The Audit log report of Dashboard displays all the information on the user activity of your organization using insightsoftware products such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow.

Perform the following steps to view and export the audit logs:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Reports > Audit log. The Audit log page appears with a list of logs along with details such as Date & time, User name, Message type and Message for the last 30 days.
  2. In the Audit log page, perform the following:
    1. To filter the logs based on the product, start date, end date, groups or users: 
      1. Select Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can filter the logs by Products, Start date, End date, Group or User.

        Note: When you select a group, only the names of the users in that group appear in the User drop-down list.

      2. Select Search. The Audit log page displays the logs as per the parameters set in the Filters section.
    2. To search for log messages with a specific word, perform the following:
      1. Select the search box in the Message field and enter the word you want to use to filter.
      2. Select any of the following parameters from the drop-down list in the search box:
        • Begins with: To filter messages that begin with the word you entered.
        • Contains: To filter messages that include the word you entered.
        • Doesn't contain: To filter messages that don't include the word you entered.
        • Ends with: To filter messages that end with the word you entered.
        • Equals: To filter messages containing the exact word you entered.
        • Doesn't equal: To filter messages that do not contain the exact word you entered.

      The Audit log page displays the logs as per the parameters set in the search box of the Message field.

    3. To export the Audit log, perform the following:
      1. Select one of the following options that appear above the list of logs.
        • Excel
        • PDF
        • CSV

      The Dashboard logs are exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

ROI Report

The ROI Report (Return on Investment) report of the Dashboard displays the information about the total time and the cost saved by using insightsoftware products such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow compared to the manual effort required to perform the same task.

Note: In the CloudHub dashboard, ROI report is calculated for each individual process based on the cost of manual and automated efforts. This differs from the Innowera dashboard and the desktop ROI report, which use generic, technology-based estimates based on the average number of screens and fields. As a result, the ROI results may vary.

Perform the following steps to view and download the ROI Report:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Reports > ROI Report. The ROI Report page appears with a summary of Users in reports, Total time saved, Total savings based on the ROI report list of your insightsoftware products for the last 30 days. The ROI Report list includes the following fields:
    • Date and time
    • User
    • SAP System
    • Technology
    • Process name
    • Run mode
    • #Calls
    • Manual time
    • Manual cost
    • ProR time
    • Automation cost
    • Time saving
    • Cost saving
  2. In the ROI Report page, perform the following:
    1. To modify the ROI report list based on different parameters:
      1. Select the Filters icon on the left pane. A drop-down list appears, and you can set the following parameters:
        • Product: Select the insightsoftware product.
        • From date and To date: Select the period for gathering report.
        • Group: Select the specific groups.
        • SAP system: Select the SAP systems.
        • Technology: Select the technologies.
        • Process name: Select the name of the processes.

          Note: Only the processes that are configured in ROI Configuration appear in the ROI Report list, even if you select a non-configured process from the list.

      2. Select Go. The ROI Report page displays the list as per the parameters set in the Filters section.

        Note: The values of Users in reports, Total time saved, and Total savings in the Summary section of the ROI Report page updates as per the parameters set in the Filters section

      3. To download the ROI report list displayed in the ROI Report page:
        1. Select the Download icon on the left pane and select any of the following formats:
          • CSV
          • PDF

        The ROI Report is downloaded in the specified format. By default, the downloaded file is saved in the Downloads folder of your system.

ROI Configuration

The ROI Configuration in the Dashboard allows you to enter the time taken to complete manually a Transaction, RFM/BAPI, GUI Script, or Data Extractor to be compared with the time taken to complete the same task by insightsoftware products such as Process Runner, Process Runner Excel Add-in, and Easy Workflow. The ROI Report is displayed as per the configuration set in the ROI Configuration.

Perform the following steps to configure the ROI configuration:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select Dashboard > Reports > ROI Configuration. The Processes configured for ROI Report page appears with the processes list.
  2. Select Add process. The Add process page appears.
  3. In Select technology, select any of the following technology:
    • Transaction
    • BAPI/RFM
    • GUI Script
    • Data extractor
    1. If you select Transaction in the Select technology, enter the following:
      1. In Tcode, enter the Tcode.
      2. In the Manual section enter the value for the following:
        • Entry time/record in minutes
        • Entry rate in SAP in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
      3. In the Automation section enter the value for the following:
        • Excel entry time/record in minutes
        • Excel entry rate in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
    2. If you select BAPI/RFM in the Select technology, enter the following:
      1. In BAPI name, enter the BAPI name.
      2. In the Manual section enter the value for the following:
        • Extraction or creation time in SAP/record in minutes
        • Entry rate in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
      3. In the Automation section enter the value for the following:
        • Excel entry time/record in minutes
        • Excel entry rate in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
    3. If you select GUI Script in the Select technology, enter the following:
      1. In Tcode, enter the Tcode.
      2. In the Manual section enter the value for the following:
        • Entry time/record in minutes
        • Entry rate in SAP in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
      3. In the Automation section enter the value for the following:
        • Excel entry time/record in minutes
        • Excel entry rate in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
    4. If you select Data extractor in the Select technology, enter the following:
      1. In Table, enter the name of the table.
      2. In the Manual section enter the value for the following:
        • Extraction time SAP/1000 records in minutes
        • Rate of data extraction in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
      3. In the Automation section enter the value for the following:
        • Excel entry time per 1000 records
        • Excel entry rate in hours
        • Consultation fee as one time cost
  4. Select Add process. The process is saved and appears in the Processes configured for ROI Report list. Report of the process added appears the ROI Report list as per the parameters set in the Filters section of ROI Report page.
