Install Process Runner Excel Add-in in Citrix (XenApp)

This topic describes how to install Process Runner Excel Add-in on a Citrix Server.

Prerequisites

  • Microsoft Excel: Install and publish Microsoft Office/Excel on the Citrix Server, allowing users to work with the published Excel application..
  • SAP GUI: Install SAP GUI and make it available to users. (Required for Designer users and recommended for Run-Only users).
  • SAP GUI Logon Pad: Install the SAP GUI Logon Pad with all required SAP systems configured (via the saplogon.ini file).
  • Process Runner License: A special license is required to run Process Runner Excel Add-in in a Citrix environment. If you don’t have a Process Runner Excel Add-in Citrix license, contact: mag-innoweralicense@insightsoftware.com.

If Process Runner Excel Add-in is already installed (whether active or expired), you can skip this section.

Download Process Runner Excel Add-in

If you’ve already downloaded Process Runner Excel Add-in (whether active or expired), you can skip this section. If you are using an older version, we recommend downloading the latest version.

Install Process Runner Excel Add-in

Important: Install Process Runner Excel Add-in with the Everyone option during installation on Citrix Server.

Note: Do not execute/launch Process Runner Excel Add-in while the server is in install mode. If Process Runner Excel Add-in is launched in install mode, it may cause errors for other users. To solve the issue, you need to delete specific registry entries. For more information, see:
