This section describes the new features, enhancements and fixed issues for Process Runner DB v23.4, released in December 2023.

New Features

Multi-factor Authentication

The multi-factor authentication feature in Process Runner DB is enhanced for increased usability. After registering the application in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), you can use multi-factor authentication by selecting Client Secret value or Certificate under Configure email settings > Option > Select Use OAuth Method > Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Support for SAP GUI 8.0

Process Runner DB now supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of SAP GUI 8.0. For more information, see System Requirements of Process Runner DB.

Fixed Issues

Run Process Files Using Collective Run Feature

In Process Runner DB 5.20.13, when you run multiple process files using the Collective Run feature, the COLLRD:30 Collective Run already exists error appears, and you have to close multiple error dialogs to restart the run.

Response of Turn on Triggers Option

In Process Runner DB 5.20.13, the Turn on Triggers option for the data extractor file in Home > Advance settings remains active even when you make it inactive.

Status when Zero Records are Extracted from SAP

When you run a process file and extract the records from the SAP to SQL database that result in the extraction of no records or zero records, the table does not show any status instead of showing zero records.

When you create a new table containing fields with certain data types in Process Runner DB, an error message appears.
