System Requirements for Process Runner DB

This section lists the system requirements for Process Runner DB.

Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements are as follows:

• RAM: 1 GB
• Disk Space: 400 MB to 450 MB

Software Requirements

The software requirements are as follows:

• Operating system: Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 11, or Windows 10
• Supported Database: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, or SAP HANA
• Supported database connectivity:
  • Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)
  • Object Linking and Embedding Database (OLEDB)
• SAP GUI: 8.0 (patch level 3 onwards) 32-bit and 64-bit

  Note: For SAP GUI 8.0 (64-bit and 32-bit), Autofix tool should be used to fix the necessary registry parameters for the device that runs on previous Process Runner DB versions. For the new device, it is not necessary.

• ERP: One of the following source systems:
  • SAP ERP 6
    • Supported Enhancement Package: EHP8, EHP7, or EHP6
  • SAP S/4HANA
    • Version: 2020, 1909, 1809, or 1709
  • SAP CRM 7.0
  • SAP SCM 7.0 (APO Module)
• SAP .NET Connector: SAP GUI 8.0 (connector should match the bit version of SAP GUI 8.0)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) to use NCo Library functionality for SAP GUI 7.70, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package to use NCo 3.1.3 Library functionality for SAP GUI 8.0 (package should match the bit version of SAP GUI 8.0)
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to use the Process Runner Cloud functionality
• Logon methods: SAP GUI Logon, SAP SNC Logon, or Enterprise Portal Logon (HTTP and HTTPS)
• Security: Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). For information about implementing TDE, see Transparent Data Encryption Guide.

Ensure that you have the latest service packs and updates for related products.

Note: You can also install Process Runner DB on Citrix XenApp, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), terminal servers, or virtual computers. A special license is required to work in these environments. For information about such licenses, contact insightsoftware support.
