Configure Device Settings
Device Settings allows user to configure the settings for the mobile devices that connect to Innowera Web and Mobile Server. Go to Admin > Settings > Device Settings for set-up.
- Select Restore Defaults to restore the default settings.
- Select Apply to save the settings.
Note: It is recommended that users re-login to Innowera App on mobile devices to sync all the new changes done for the device.
Device Approval
Device approval is used to approve devices that need to connect with server.

Auto Approval : |
Auto Approval is set as default. This option when selected requires no approval of device from Innowera Web and Mobile Server administrator on first login. User will be logged in automatically without device approval and an entry of 'Mobile Device' trying to connect to 'Innowera Web and Mobile Server'will be made in Normal tab of Device Management.

Manual Approval : |
By Enabling this option, the devices have to be manually added into Innowera Web and Mobile Server and allowed for access. The user will be displayed the message for update. |
Note: The entry of Mobile Device that tried to connect to Innowera Web and Mobile Server will be made in Pending Approval tab of Device Management.
Auto Sync on Logon
Container Patch Version Update
This option is used by administrator of Innowera Web and Mobile Server to configure whether the container patch update of version in mobile devices are updated upon logon through auto Sync or not. These types of updates are minor fixes or changes that cannot be altered through 'Process App Update' or any other option.

Download Theme
If Download Theme is enabled for Auto sync on Logon, all themes are automatically downloaded in device on Logon.
Download Banner
If Download Banner is enabled for Auto sync on Logon, Baners are automatically downloaded in device on Login.
Process App Update
This feature is used for updating Innowera APP on device. User can change Base pages by uploading proper package in Innowera Web and Mobile Server server. When user logs in device, new changes will be downloaded in device. This setting will decide whether to prompt the user for confirmation before starting updation or not.

If 'Auto Sync on Logon' is disabled then user will have to sync the device manually. The manual sync can be executed through tapping 'Sync All' button from the bottom-left corner of the Innowera App. |
Enable Background Sync at Device: |
When selected the device will be updated with changes in background at selected interval of time. Moreover the InnoweraApp in the device is also availed with options that enable the user to change the settings for routine timely updates of App in background. This can be done through enabling 'Background Auto Sync (at required interval of time)' from Menu --> Settings --> Background Synchronization Settings of Innowera App on device. |
Note: It is recommended to select Yes for Auto Sync Setting on Logon option to make the application work efficiently. This will not prompt for any confirmation message to user and automatically update the new changes done on the server side.
Upload Folder
The Upload Folder feature is associated with uploading records of 'Inbox', 'Sent' , 'Drafts' and 'Deleted Items'.

Download Folder
The Download Folder feature is associated with downloading records of 'Inbox', 'Sent' , 'Drafts' and 'Deleted Items'.

Selecting this option will allow the InnoweraApp to download records of Inbox folder. And on selecting this option on Innowera Web and Mobile Server, user will have choice to limit the Maximum number of records to be downloaded in the Inbox folder.
By default the value assigned to 'Max Records' is '0' which means that all the messages of 'Inbox folder' will be retrieved.
Download Draft Folder to Device
Selecting this option will allow the Innowera App to download records of Draft folder. And on selecting this option on Innowera Web and Mobile Server, user will have choice to limit the Maximum number of records to be downloaded in the Draft folder.
By default the value assigned to 'Max Records' is '0' which means that all the messages of 'Draft folder' will be retrieved.
Download Outbox Folder to Device
Selecting this option will allow the Innowera App to download records of Outbox folder. And on selecting this option on Innowera Web and Mobile Server, user will have choice to limit the Maximum number of records to be downloaded in the Outbox folder.
By default the value assigned to 'Max Records' is '0' which means that all the messages of 'Outbox' folder will be retrieved.
Download Sentbox Folder to Device
Selecting this option will allow the InnoweraApp to download records of Sentbox folder. And on selecting this option on Innowera Web and Mobile Server, user will have choice to limit the Maximum number of records to be downloaded in the Sent Box folder.
By default the value assigned to 'Max Records' is '0' which means that all the messages of 'Sentbox' folder will be retrieved.
Device Offline Configuration
Device offline configuration settings are used to control the offline properties of connected devices. These offline settings are controlled by administrator.
Allow Offline Mode
The Allow Offline mode is the option that concludes whether InnoweraApp user can access the App in offline mode or not.
Days to allow Mobile Device for Offline Mode: Administrator can define the number of days for which Mobile device will be able to work offline on InnoweraApp i.e. if offline mode is allowed for 30 days; then user will be able to login and access the InnoweraApp for 30 days only, thereafter user will not be allowed to login. Moreover if offline mode is not enabled then this option will be ineligible.
Other Settings
The options available in other settings are explained below:
Allow User to Save Data to Draft in Online Mode
This option is used allow/restrict the Device App user to save data as draft in Online mode. The data may consist of entire page that may be incomplete or the one which are needed for reference.
Ensure the following:
- If Allow User to Save Data to Draft in Online Mode is enabled, then save button appears in any Process App to save the session.
- If Allow User to Save Data in Online Mode is not enabled , then Save will not be available on any Process App to save the session progress to Drafts.
Enable IWMS Authentication Token Validity Check
This option is used to provide limitations in terms of 'time bounds' for implementation of Innowera Web and Mobile Server Web API. Authorization token plays an important role in the implementation of Innowera Web and Mobile Server Web API, whenever an Web API is called, it is essential to pass the authorization token in the header section of '.html' file wherein successful verification leads to effective implementation of the same.
- If Enable IWMS Authentication Token Validity Check is permitted, it allows the user to set specific time-limit (in hours) of 'access to Web API'.
- Authorization token in Web API will be valid for 1 hour only.
- On exceeding 1 hour the authorization token will expire and user will be asked to renew or contact administrator.
- If Enable IWMS Authentication Token Validity Check is not permitted, then Web API will not be checked for time bounds at all i.e. Web API can be implemented for unlimited time.
For Example: In case where time limit is set to '1 Hours'.
Enable InnoweraApp Session Timeout Period
Permitting this option will allow administrator to avail 'Session Time Out Facility' on InnoweraApp APP. Specific time ('Hours' or 'Mins') can be defined to set the time bar for which its respective users can be on standby.
- If Enable InnoweraApp Session Timeout Period is permitted and set to 20 Mins.
- Devices connected will be able to be on standby for maximum 20 mins after login.
- Once the users standby behavior exceeds 20 Mins; the Innowera APP automatically logout the idol user and displays the message to re-login.
- If Enable InnoweraApp Session Timeout Period is not permitted, then users can be idol as per their comfort.
Request Timeout Period
Enter number of seconds for the request timeout here. When any request is made from device side to Innowera Web and Mobile Server, it will check Innowera Web and Mobile Server availability for defined number of seconds. If any response is not received during this time period, it will abort the request.
Any one from 'Innowera Web and Mobile Server Authentication Token Timeout Period' and 'InnoweraApp Session Timeout Period' must be enabled in order to proceed further.
