Manage Mobile Device

The Device Management is useful to manage the different mobile devices that connect to Innowera Web and Mobile Server. This feature is only enabled for the admin and the users with required authorization. User have option to Add, Delete, Block and Wipe the mobile devices.

Note: The device name is a hyperlink and new device name can be updated for the same by clicking it.

Fields

Description

Icons:

This field will display the icon of its device with regard to its platform.

Delete:

This option will enable the individual deletion of entire device and its details.

Block:

This option wil enable the individual deletion of entire device and its details.

Device Name:

Device Name field displays the name of the device that is added to the IWMS.

Platform:

This field represents the platform (Operating System) of its respective device.

Unique Id:

Each device connected with Innowera Web and Mobile Server is allotted a 'Unique Id' that is used to represent the device.

Wipe Status:

This option will show the status of wiped devices.

Wiped Date:

This column will exhibit the wiped date of its respective device.

Last Logged-In User:

It will show the last user that was logged in that particular device.

Last Logged-In Date:

Displays the last login date.

View Log:

This option will provide entire logs for that particular device.

Filters

Normal tab is enhanced with filters in order to simplify the search from the grid. The following are the filters:

Description

Device Name:

Device Name filter is used to filter the table with devices that match the input field. Type the name of the device to filter accordingly.

Platform:

The table can be gridded according to platforms of device through toggling between iOS, Android or All filters.

Unique Id:

Each device is allotted with its unique id in Innowera Web and Mobile Server, for more precise and singular search; enter the unique id.

Normal

This tab displays list of registered devices. It displays the Username , Access Type and Last Login Date for the particular devices.

Description

Delete (Selected):

Allows to delete the registered devices from the list. Click delete-button36  to remove the device from the list or Select device, click delete, then click Yesto delete the selected device.

Block (Selected):

Allows to block the registered devices from the list. Click Block-button-36to block the device or select the device, click Block and then click Yes to block the device.

Wipe (Selected):

Allows to wipe devices. To know more about it, refer the Wipe tab section below.

Refresh:

Avails the facility to update- so that background changes that may have occurred on other nodes of Innowera Web and Mobile Server are incorporated.

Block

This tab displays all the blocked devices.

Delete (Selected):

Click delete-button36to remove the device from the list or select multiple devices and delete them simultaneously by clicking Delete Selected.

Unblock (Selected):

Click unblock-button36 to unblock and allow access to the device or select multiple device, click Unblock (Selected) to allow access to the device. Click Yes to unblock the selected devices.

Refresh:

Click Refresh to refresh the device list.

Wipe

  • Select the device and click Wipe under Normal tab to wipe all the data of that particular device.

  • The device is sent under Wipe tab from the Normal tab. The device is also sent under Blocked tab if -the checkbox for 'Do you want to block the selected 1 device as well'- is enabled.

  • To Unwipe device, select devices and select Unwipe (selected). Select Yes to confirm.

Pending Approval

This tab displays the list of devices which are awaiting approval. The count is displayed for pending approval items.

  • Select the device and click Approve to approve the device. The device will now be displayed under Normal tab.
