SAP Default Settings :

Allows setting the date format and decimal notation in Innowera Web and Mobile Server same as set in SAP.

SAP Workflow Setting:

Allows to set workflow settings which will be displayed in Request Approvals and allows to add listed workflows.

Default Logon Shortcut Setting:

This option allows user to set default logon shortcut.

SAP Live Connection :

Displays the list of active SAP connections.

Refer these sections to know about various options available.

General Settings

Option

Description

Standard Connectivity

Allows to set connectivity in standard mode. Moreover, the standard connectivity is set by default.

Netweaver Gateway

Allows to set the connection through NetWeaver Gateway. If NetWeaver Gateway is selected then 'Keep Connection Alive' in logon management is not supported.

 

Sub-Option

Description

SAP System

Select the appropriate SAP system from the drop-down menu.

Gateway URL

Select the SAP Netweaver Gateway URL for you to supply/consume SAP business data to/from your SAP system

SAP Default Settings

SAP Default Settings displays the options to set the date format and decimal notation similar to SAP.

To modify SAP default settings,

  1. In Innowera Web and Mobile Server, select Admin> Settings> SAP Settings. The SAP Default Settings is displayed.

  2. In SAP Date Format, select a date format according to your SAP system.
  3. In SAP Decimal Notation, select a decimal notation according to your SAP system.
  4. Select Apply to save the changes.

These settings apply to all newly added users. By default, these settings are reflected at their User Profile, and the same is reflected in Logon Management when a new SAP Logon Shortcut is added. Please note that if logged-in users set their SAP Date Format, SAP Decimal Notation under User Profile, then these settings under Admin will not apply to such users.

SAP Default Settings

SAP Default Settings display the options to set the date format and decimal notation similar to SAP.

SAP Date Format :

Allows to set the date format as according to the user's SAP system.

SAP Decimal Notation :

Allows to set the decimal notation same as according to user's SAP system.

Apply :

Click Apply to save the changes.

These setting will be applicable to all newly added users. The setting is reflected at User Profile of newly added users as default and the same will be reflected at logon management in case when new logon is added. Please note that if the logged in users have set their own SAP Date Format, Decimal Notation under User Profile then this setting under Admin will not be applicable to such users. EP/SSO Settings

This section explains how to add an EP/SSO enabled SAP system. You can use the EP/SSO enabled SAP system while creating a logon shortcut of the EP/SSO type.

To add a EP/SSO enabled SAP system,

  1. In Innowera Web and Mobile Server, select Admin> Settings> SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select EP/SSO Settings. The EP/SSO Configuration tab is displayed.

  3. Select Add icon add a EP/SSO enabled SAP system.
  4. Enter the following details:
    • EP/SSO ID: Indicates the ID of the EP/SSO.
    • Display Name: Indicates the name of the SAP system
    • System: Indicates the SAP system
    • EP/SSO URL: Indicates the URL to connect to the SAP system.
  5. Select Save icon to save the details of the SAP system.
  6. Select Edit icon to edit the Edit the details of the SAP system.
  7. Select Delete icon to delete the SAP system.

EP/SSO Settings

This section explains you how to add an SSO-enabled SAP system. You can use the SSO-enabled SAP system while creating a logon shortcut of the EPSSO type.

To add an SAP System

  1. In Web and Mobile Server, Go to Admin > Setting > SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page appears.
  2. Select EP/SSO Settings. The EP/SSO Configuration page appears.
  3. Select add to enter the details of the SAP system.
  4. Enter system name in the Display Name box.
  5. Select the SAP system from the System box.
  6. Enter the URL to connect to the SAP system in EP/SSO URL box.
  7. Select Save.

Gateway Settings

This section explains you how to add a SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, you can use the SAP NetWeaver Gateway system while creating a logon shortcut type SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

To add an SAP NetWeaver Gateway system,

  1. In Innowera Web and Mobile Server, select Admin> Settings> SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select Gateway Settings. The SAP NetWeaver Gateway Configuration tab is displayed.

  3. Select Add icon add a SAP NetWeaver Gateway system.
  4. Enter the following details:
    • Gateway ID: Indicates the ID of the EP/SSO.
    • Display Name: Indicates the name of the SAP system
    • System: Indicates the SAP system
    • Gateway URL: Indicates the URL to connect to the SAP system.
  5. Select Save icon to save the details of the SAP system.
  6. Select Edit icon to edit the Edit the details of the SAP system.
  7. Select Delete icon to delete the SAP system

Gateway Settings

This section explains you how to add a SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, you can use the SAP NetWeaver Gateway system while creating a logon shortcut type SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

To add an SAP NetWeaver Gateway system

  1. Go to Admin > Setting > SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page appears.
  2. Select Gateway Settings. The SAP NetWeaver Gateway Configuration page appears.
  3. Select the plus icon to add a SAP system.
  4. Enter system name in the Display Name box.
  5. Select the SAP system from the System box.
  6. Enter the URL to connect to the SAP system in Gateway URL box.
  7. Select Save.

SAP Workflow Settings

SAP Workflow Settings displays the Inowera Extended RFM Settings, Advanced Workflow Settings.

To modify SAP Workflow Settings,

  1. In Innowera Web and Mobile Server, select Admin > Settings > SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select SAP Workflow Settings. The SAP Workflow Settings is displayed.

  3. Innowera Extended RFM Settings displays the following options:
    • Use Innowera Extended RFM for "SAP Inbox": Enable this option to use Innowera extended RFM for SAP inbox.
    • Display Workflows That Do Not Contain User Decision: Enable this option to fetch Workflow items, which do not have any user decision defined on it.
  4. Advanced Workflow Settings displays Workflow Settings, Priority Settings.
  5. Workflow Settings displays the following options:
    • All Workflows: Displays all the SAP Logon Management workflows in SAP Inbox.
    • Listed Workflows: Displays all the listed workflows in SAP inbox.

      To add a new workflow,

      1. Select Add icon to add a new work flow.
      2. Enter the following details:
        • Workflow Unique ID: Used to indicate the unique ID of the workflow.
        • Workflow Version: Used to indicate the version of the workflow.
        • Workflow Image: Used to indicate the image of the workflow.
        • Active: Used to indicate whether the workflow is active.
      3. Select Save icon to save the new workflow.
      4. Select Delete icon to delete a workflow.
      5. Select Edit icon to edit workflow.
  6. Priority Settings displays the levels of priority in SAP.

    Following are the options displayed in the Priority Settings:

    • Fixed Priority Value: Used to display 9 levels of priority in SAP.
    • Short Text: Used to define the level of priority in brief.
    • New Short Text: Used to define the details of priority.
    • Workflow Image: Used to display the thumbnail icon of its respective priority.
    • Edit Icon: Used to edit the Priority Settings.
  7. Select Apply SAP Workflow Settings to save the settings.

Innowera Extended RFM Settings

Use Innowera Extended RFM for "SAP Inbox":

Enable this option to use Innowera extended RFM for SAP inbox.

Display Workflows That Do Not Contain User Decision:

Enable this option to fetch Workflow items which do not have any user decision defined on it.

On selection of this option all the SAP Logon Management workflows will be displayed in SAP Inbox.

Listed Workflows

All the listed workflows will be displayed in SAP Inbox if this option is selected. Moreover a new Workflow can be added by clicking Add New.

Follow the below steps to add new workflow:

  1. Select Add New to add a new workflow.

  2. Fill in the details and click Apply SAP Workflow Settings the Workflow of this list will be displayed in SAP Inbox.

Priority Settings

Edit :

Edit option is used to edit the priority settings.

Fixed Priority Value  :

Fixed Priority value displays 9 levels of priority in SAP among which 1 is the highest priority and 9 as the lowest one.

Short Text :

Short text can be used to define the level of priority in brief.

New Short Text :

New-Short Text is used to define the details of priority.

Image /Icon :

Image/Icon is displays the thumbnail icon of its respective priority.

Following are the generic steps to Edit the priority settings:

  1. Select Edit for the priority from the list.

SAP Workflow Settings

SAP Workflow Settings displays the workflow and priority settings, the following screen is displayed with two tabs of Workflow Settings and Priority Settings.

Innowera Extended RFM Settings

Priority Settings

Shared Logon Setting

Shared Logon setting option allows to set default logon shortcut.

To set default logon shortcut,

  1. In Innowera Web and Mobile Server, select Admin> Settings> SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select Shared Logon Setting The Shared Logon Setting is displayed.

  3. Select the logon shortcut you want to set as default and select Set as Default.

Default Logon Shortcut Setting option allows user to set default logon shortcut.

To set default logon shortcut

  1. Select check-box to enable default logon shortcut.

  2. A pop-up will confirm the activation of default logon shortcut. Select Yes to proceed.

    Note: It is recommended- not to enable this option in production systems.

  3. Fill the details precisely and click Test to check logon shortcut settings.

    Description

    Share Default Logon Shortcut :

    Enable this option to share SAP information between multiple users rather than creating new SAP Logon shortcut for each user. If Enable Default Logon Shortcut is enabled then usually it creates new SAP Logon shortcut as per the below information, but if Share Default Logon Shortcut is checked then it will not create new SAP Logon Shortcut.

    This option is more useful when there are number of users all having same SAP information. This will remove data repetition.

    Shared Logon will be visible to all users and cannot be edited or deleted. The users having 'User cannot use shared logon shortcut' setting enabled will not able to view or use the shared logon shortcut.

    Logon Shortcut Name :

    Enter the name for the SAP Logon.

    SAP System :

    Select the correct SAP system from the drop down list.

    Client :

    Specify the SAP client that will be able to login to SAP.

    Username :

    Enter the username to login to SAP.

    Password :

    Enter the password to login to SAP. User can also configure SAP Logon without passwords. Such SAP logon's will be helpful for single sign-on (SSO) to an SAP system.

    Language :

    Enter the language to logon.

    Keep Connection Alive :

    This option when enabled keeps the connection open with the SAP system. This is not available when SAP gateway is used.

    SAP Date Format :

    This options allows to set the date format in IWMS same as it is set in the SAP system. Please make sure to follow this step for each new user.

    SAP Decimal Notation :

    This option allows to set the decimal notation in IWMS same as that set in SAP system. Please make sure to follow this step for each new user.

  5. A status with successful connectivity appears.
  6. Select Save to set it as default logon shortcut.

SAP Live Connection

The SAP Live Connection tab displays the list of all SAP connections which have Keep Connection alive option enabled while creating logon shortcuts under Logon Management.

To close SAP live connections

  1. In Web and Mobile Server, select Admin > Settings > SAP Settings. The SAP Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select SAP Live Connection. The SAP Live Connection is displayed.

  3. To close the SAP live connections, perform one of the following steps:
    • Select the connections you want to close. Select Close SAP Connection (Selected).
    • Select Close icon of the connection you want to close.
    • Select Close all SAP Connection if you want to close all SAP connections.
  4. Select OK to close the SAP connections.

SAP Live Connection

This option displays list of all active SAP connections. Only those connections will be displayed here which have 'Keep Connection alive' option enabled when defining logon shortcuts under 'Logon Management'.

Refresh :

Refreshes the list of active SAP.

Close SAP Connection (Selected) :

Closes the connection of selected logon with SAP.

Close All Connection :

Closes all the connection displayed here with SAP.

Close SAP Connection

This allows to close connection users from the list.

  • To close all connections in list:
    1. Select Close All SAP Connection.
    2. Select Yes to confirm the closure of all connections.
  • To close selected SAP connection:
    1. Select the SAP connection to be deleted.
    2. Select Close SAP connection (selected).
    3. Select Yes in confirmation pop up to close SAP connection(s).
