Enable or Clear Cache
The Cache feature in Process Runner is used to reduce the average time to access Innowera Control Panel server for frequent use of particular actions. Enabling this option in Process Runner and Innowera Control Panel will allow you to store copies of actions performed for first time in Process Runner. These actions will be stored in your local desktop as per current settings in Innowera Control Panel. Later on, whenProcess Runner must communicate with Innowera Control Panel server, it first checks whether a copy of that action is in the stored cache or not, If yes, Process Runner will immediately read stored action from the stored cache without communicating with Innowera Control Panel server.

Benefits
If you have enabled this feature and are going to execute particular action for several times, then this option will be helpful to reduce communication time with Control Panel server. This is due to the stored cache in your local PC.
Detriments
For example, initially, you will turn this off while you are configuring or testing control panel. Once it is stable and not only minimal changes are going on, it can be turned on.
