This section describes the enhancements and fixed issues for Process Runner v26.3, released in September 2026.
Enhancements
Extended Support For OData Process Files
OData process files now support the following capabilities, aligning with other Process Runner process file types:
- The New Process screen displays user instructions explaining how to use Fetch Services, select the OData service, entity set, and operation, load the schema, and run the process.
- The File Info window displays the service name, entity name, and operation used when the OData process file was recorded.
- The Logon Shortcut drop-down shows only OData-enabled systems for OData process files, and only SOAP-enabled systems for SOAP-based process files.
- The SAP Base URL does not have the service name hardcoded. You can optionally include a service name in the Base URL, and all operations function correctly either way.
- An OData process file recorded on one SAP system can be executed on a different SAP system where the same service and entity are available.
- Batch execution is supported. Configure the batch size under Tools > Options > OData to group multiple records into a single OData call. The default batch size is 1.
- A blank row threshold setting controls when Process Runner stops scanning. Process Runner stops automatically after encountering the configured number of consecutive blank rows. The default is 5.
- Dynamic Formula (DF) options — including Add Leading Zeros, Convert to Absolute Value, Transform to Debit/Credit Indicator, Remove Spaces and Accounting Formats, Get Internal Value, and Custom Formula — are supported.
- Dynamic Skip (DS) conditions allow you to skip posting a record based on Excel data values.
- The Status and Log columns display the SAP OData status code and message separately.
- OData process files can be saved to and opened from EShare, both from the on-premises application and from CloudHub.
- Process Connection settings apply correctly to OData process files, including Excel settings, SAP Logon settings, stop-on-error behavior, and master file handling after execution.

Validate Process File Support For OData Process File
Process Runner now supports the Validate Process File option for OData (.iof) process files. Before running a process file, you can validate it to identify any configuration issues. The validation checks the mapper field mappings, the Excel file and sheet configuration, and the SAP logon and process connection settings. On completion, the validation displays Validated successfully or Error found during validation process with a list of all errors.

Support For Deep Structure BAPI/RFM
rocess Runner now reads and maps fields from nested deep structures in BAPI and RFM, beyond the first level. Administrators can select and map all leaf-level fields directly in the field mapping screen, and nested blocking is also supported. This enhancement is compatible with SAP S/4HANA 2025. The feature is currently in beta. Certain block type configurations may not function as expected. For more information, see Record and Run BAPI File.

Fixed Issues
Blank Lines Missing When Extracting Long Text Using RFC_READ_TEXT
When using RFC_READ_TEXT to extract long text data in a cell, leading blank lines in the text structure were not captured, causing the extracted data to be incomplete.
