System Requirements for Email Runner

This document lists the system requirements for Email Runner.

Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements are as follows:

• RAM: 4 GB
• Disk Space: 150 MB to 200 MB
• Database size: 500 MB

Software Requirements

The software requirements are as follows:

• Operating system: Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows Server 2012
• Database: SQL Server 2019, SQL Server 2017, SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 3, or SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 4
• Microsoft Office (64-bit and 32-bit): Office 365, 2021, 2019 or 2016
• Inbound email protocols supported: IMAP, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, or POP3
• Outbound email protocols supported: Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, or SMTP

Note: The information about the incoming mail server and port number is required if you use POP3 or IMAP protocol. The information about the outgoing mail server and port number is required if you use SMTP protocol.

• Signed email supported: POP3 or IMAP (You must have a signing certificate to use the signed email functionality.)
• Data encryption: Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). For information about how to implement TDE, see Transparent Data Encryption Guide.
• SAP GUI: 7.70
• SAP .NET Connector: 3.1.3 (32-bit) Restart the system after installation.
• Connectivity to SharePoint is required for SharePoint Engine and to is required for Easy Workflow Engine.

Ensure that you have the latest service packs and updates for related products.

Note: You can also install Email Runner on a virtual computer. A special license is required to work in these environments. For information about such licenses, contact insightsoftware support.
