Sign in to SAP Using Enterprise Portal/SSO

This topic describes how to use Enterprise Portal/SSO ( EP/SSO) from Process Runner to sign into SAP.

To sign in to SAP using EP/SSO,

1. Open the Process file, select Run from Home tab. The Connector for SAP window appears.
2. Select the SAP system and select EP/SSO. The Enterprise Portal Logon window appears.

   

3. On the Basic Logon tab, enter your authentication details. The portal page might require the authentication details before it gets loaded and provides a ticket.

   

4. Some portals require you to go to their page. Select the Web Logon tab then enter the sign-in credentials. You are then assigned a ticket and you can proceed with the Process file run.
5. Optionally, reuse the ticket for the target server by selecting Reuse Ticket and select Logon instead of repeating the procedure every time.
6. On the Settings tab, the IT admin can define the settings that are required to successfully connect to portal.

   

Note: The web logon is not successful if the URL is invalid or the settings are invalid.
