Display Document in SAP
Display document in SAP allows to select cells in excel having hyperlink in its SAP return messages and view them in SAP GUI. Clicking on this button will automatically open that display transaction. This option will not work for External Excel file. Please note that SAP GUI must be installed in order to use this option.
To display document in SAP,
- Select the Message Settings option under Edit menu. The SAP returned messages setting window appears.
- Enable Add Hyperlink to the success message on each run option to add the hyperlink to the success message on each run, enter the transaction code, and select OK.

- Run the Process file. The hyperlink is added to success messages in the external Excel file.
- Select the SAP message and select Display document in SAP. The SAP logon window appears.
- Enter the valid logon credentials to log on. The Select View(s) window appears.
- Select the Basic Data1 tab and select
to continue to view the transaction in SAP.
