Configure Extended RFM with Additional Parameters for Data Extractors

In Process Runner DB, you can configure a custom functional module and pass additional import parameters for all SAP systems or a specific SAP system. You cannot pass blank parameters. If the parameter is not found in Extended RFM, an error message appears.

To configure a custom functional module for Data Extractor and pass additional parameters for all SAP systems

1. Open Process Runner DB and go to Tools> Options. The Options dialog appears.
2. In the Data Extractor tab, under Use Extended RFM, specify the name of the custom function module.
3. In the Record/Row width, set the width to 512 characters depending on the custom function module requirements.

   

4. Select the Tools icon. The Additional Parameter Configuration for Extended RFM dialog appears.

   

5. Select the Enable Additional (Import) Parameters checkbox and provide the parameter name and value for the function module.
6. Select OK. The changes will be applied for all the SAP systems listed in iNet connector.

Since the configuration is done at global level, the changes will be applied for all the SAP system listed in iNETConnector.

Note: The global settings will not override the settings applied at the individual SAP system level.

To configure a custom functional module for Data Extractor and pass additional parameters for a specific SAP system

1. Open Process Runner DB and go to Home > SAP Shortcuts. The Connector for SAP dialog appears.
2. In the Server/Group tab, select the required SAP system.
3. Select Properties. The Properties [<SAPSystemName>] dialog appears.
4. In the Data Extractor Settings tab, under Use Extended RFM, specify the name of the custom function module.
5. In the Record/Row Width box, set the width to 512 characters depending on the custom function module requirements.
6. Select the Tools icon. The Additional Parameter Configuration for Extended RFM dialog appears.
7. Select the Enable Additional (Import) Parameters checkbox and provide the import parameters for the function module.

   

8. Select OK. The changes are applied to the selected SAP system.
