Configure OData in an SAP system

Configuring OData in an SAP system allows the users to use the Process Runner application without using the SAP GUI. For the users not familiar with the SAP GUI, the OData reduces and simplifies the steps to run a process file.

Prerequisites

To use OData, you should enable OData services in the SAP environment.

To configure OData in an SAP system,

1. Open a process file.
2. Select Run. The Connector for SAP dialog appears.
3. Select the SAP system you want to configure.
4. Select Properties > OData. The properties dialog of the SAP system appears.
5. Select the OData tab.
6. In the OData Connectivity section, select the Use OData checkbox.

   

7. Enter the Host name and Port name.

   Note: Enter the credentials received while enabling the OData services in the SAP environment.

8. Select OK. The SAP system is configured for OData.

In the Connector for SAP dialog, select Refresh and the OData section for the SAP system you have configured changes status to Yes.
