Modify Process Runner ClickOnce Packager
To modify the ClickOnce package of both Process Runner and Process Runner Excel Add-in using Process Runner ClickOnce Packager,
- Extract the zip file of the product you have downloaded to your system.
- ProRSetup.zip for Process Runner
- ProRAdd-inSetup.zip for Process Runner Excel Add-in
Note: Before you install the Process Runner Excel Add-in, ensure your system has .Net Framework 4.0 and above and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 office runtime.
- Extract the Process Runner ClickOnce Packager.zip file.
- Double-click the Process Runner ClickOnce Packager.exe file. The Login - Process Runner ClickOnce Packager dialog appears.
- Enter the password innowera1 and select Login. The Process Runner ClickOnce Packager window appears.
- Optionally, you can change the password provided by insightsoftware. In the Process Runner ClickOnce Packager window, select Help > Change Password.
- Current Password: Enter the password innowera1 from insightsoftware
- New Password: Enter a new password of your choice.
- Re-Enter New Password: Enter the new password again.
Select Change Password.
In the Process Runner ClickOnce Packager window, select the icon
next to Installation Package and navigate to the setup folder, extracted from the download link in step 2.

Select the Application Files for Process Runner or VSTO files for Process Runner Excel Add-in and select Open.
Note: The following steps are same for both Process Runner and Process Runner Excel Add-in.
- The Output Installation Package field is populated with the default path. You can change the default path for Output Installation Package.
Note: You can see the Current Version of Process Runner or Process Runner Excel Add-in as per the setup file you are using for installation.

Enable central update for Process Runner and Process Runner Excel Add-in.

Perform the following steps to enable central update for Process Runner.
- Select the checkbox next to Provide URL for update.
- Enter the server URL (central location path) in textbox to install or update Process Runner from central location.
Note: The server URL is the path where all the updated packages are added. If you are not using this optional functionality, it will not prompt any pop-ups for version updates.
- Select Updates.... The Application Updates dialog appears.
- Configure the application to check for the updates before or after application starts. Optionally, enter the time duration for the application to check for updates.
- Select OK.
For the Process Runner Excel Add-in, the Provide URL for update option is disabled, and the default URL is the path from where the setup is installed. In Updates... > Application Updates dialog, you can only enter the time duration in the Specify how frequently the application should check for updates section.
Note: If you continue without configuring Application Updates, the default configuration for updates is set to After the application starts, and it functions every 15 days.

- Select Add Files… and select the files to add.
- Select the directory from the drop-down list for the files. The files are added to the list.
Following are the five directory names in the drop-down menu.

Note: insightsoftware suggests to select lic from the drop-down menu when you use License Discovery.txt file.

- Select File > Save. Enter a file name and select Save.
Note: You can use the saved configuration settings for a new setup. Open the saved file and ensure to verify the path of Installation Package where the new setup file has to be placed.
After you save the file, the file name appears in the given path.
- Select Publish. The Publish dialog to confirm the output directory path appears.
- Select Yes. The package is updated in the specified path and the Package update dialog appears.
- Select Yes to open the output directory.
The license file added following the above steps is merged into the installation package.
If you have the server URL in Step-9, select the files from the output directory and paste them into the URL path.
