Manage Lookup Manager

The Lookup Manager allows users to define lookup settings and Device Sync settings. Users can define query for the retrieval of data from database in the Lookup Setting section. When the Lookup is defined, the data as per the lookup configuration will be displayed for the fields when publishing process files. The Device Sync settings allows user to configure sync update settings to synchronize lookup files with mobile devices.

Add Lookup

This option allows you to add a lookup.

To add a lookup,

  1. Go to Lookup Management > Lookup Manager.
  2. Select Add. The Lookup Setting and Device Sync Setting fields appear.
  3. In Lookup Setting, do the following:
    1. Enter Lookup Name.
    2. Select database connection from the Connection Name box.
    3. Enter the SQL query to be executed on the database in SQL Query box.
    4. Select the Key Field column to be used for lookup.
    5. Enter Description for the key field.
    6. Select Fields To Display from the fields table for the user.
  4. In Device Sync Setting, do the following:
    1. Select Frequency Update to define the time period for which you want the lookup files to synchronize.
    2. Select All Time to synchronize lookup files every time when user performs Sync.
    3. Select As per below to set a specific time period.
    4. Enter the time period frequency in the Setting box and select the corresponding value, such as Hour, Day, Month, or Year.
    5. Enter the maximum number of records to be fetched from the database when the lookup is run in Device Max Records box.
  5. Select Save to create the lookup.

Edit Lookup

To edit a lookup,

  1. Select the Edit icon to edit the selected Lookup.

  2. Once the required data is modified, select Update to save the changes.

Delete Lookup

Select the Delete delete-button icon to delete the selected lookup.

Select Yes to confirm the deletion.
