Manage Logon Shortcuts

Innowera Web and Mobile Server allows you to create and manage logon shortcuts. Logon Management is used to manage user wise SAP logon. The user can add, edit and delete SAP logon in the Innowera Web and Mobile Server which can be accessed from the Web Runner or from the Mobile devices. The SAP logon can also be configured from the mobile devices as well. This relieves the user form entering login credentials each time a user tries to run a transaction. The user can also set a desired SAP logon to Default for easy accessibility.

The following options can be performed in logon management:

Test

Test option is used to check the logon connectivity with SAP system.

To test logon connectivity

  • Select the required Logon Shortcut and click Test. A message appears stating that the logon shortcut is successfully connected to SAP.

Add New

This option allows you to create a logon shortcut.

To create logon shortcut,

  1. Select Add New. The SAP Logon Shortcut for <username> page appears.
  2. Select Logon Type for the logon shortcut.
  3. Enter Logon Shortcut Name.
  4. This step depends upon the type of logon shortcut selected in step 2. For logon shortcut type:
    • SAP Standard: Select the required SAP System.
    • Gateway URL: Select the required gateway. See Gateway Settings for information about SAP NetWaver Getway.
    • EP/SSO System: Select an SSO enabled SAP system. For information about logon type EPSSO, refer EPSSO Settings.
  5. Enter SAP client number in the Client box.
  6. Enter SAP system Username and Password.
  7. Select SSO/SNC Method. This option is enabled when you select an SNC enabled SAP system.
  8. Select SSO/SNC Auth. Type. This option is enabled when you select an SNC enabled SAP system with Extended SSO/SNC method.
  9. Select Keep Connection Alive to keep the connection with the SAP system active.
  10. Select the Shared Type to share the logon shortcut with other users. Select Shared to share the logon shortcut or Private to not share the logon shortcut.
  11. Select SAP Date Format to set the date format in Innowera Web and Mobile Server similar to the format in SAP system.
  12. Select SAP Decimal Notation to set the date format in Innowera Web and Mobile Server similar to the format in SAP system.
  13. Select Test to validate the connection with SAP system. A message appears stating that connection with the SAP system is successful.
  14. Select Save to create the logon shortcut.

Edit

This option allows yo to edit a logon shortcut.

To edit a logon shortcut,

  1. Select the logon shortcut which you want to edit, and then select Edit.
  2. Follow steps 2 through 13 of Add New logon shortcut procedure to edit the details of the logon shortcut.
  3. Select Update to save. A message appears stating that logon shortcut has been updated successfully.

Delete

To delete a logon shortcut,

  1. Select the Logon Shortcut and click Delete to delete logon from the list as shown in the following screenshot.

  2. In the Delete Logon Shortcut screen, select Yes to confirm the deletion of the selected logon shortcut. A confirmation message appears.

Set as Default

To set a logon shortcut as the default logon shortcut,

  1. Select the logon shortcut.
  2. Select Set as Default. A confirmation message appears confirming the change in default SAP Logon.

Close connection

When a process app is executed through Send to SAP or Test, the connection of selected SAP logon opens; This SAP Logon remains open for the entire session, Close connection (selected) can be used to close the connection of selected SAP logon.

The SAP logon remains open only if Keep Connection alive while creating SAP Logon is selected as selected as shown in the following screenshot.

  1. Select the Logons.
  2. Select Close connection as shown in the following screenshot.

    Selected connection will be closed successfully and a confirmation message appears.

Close all connection(s)

This option is used to close all the connection of Logon with SAP. Click Close all connection(s) as shown in the following screenshot.
