Request and Load License Using Common License Functionality for IWMS

You can use the Innowera Web and Mobile Database & Service Configuration tool to request and load license for Innowera Web and Mobile Server, and also for Innowera Control Panel and Innowera Dashboard if you have installed these products on the same server computer.

You can also request and load license for the individual products installed on the server computer.

The following procedure is applicable when Innowera Web and Mobile Server, Innowera Control Panel, and Innowera Dashboard are installed on the same server computer.

To request and load license using common license functionality,

1. Double-click IWMS Database and Service Configuration that is available on the desktop of the server computer where Innowera EShare Service is installed. Innowera Web and Mobile Database & Service Configuration window is displayed.
2. Go to Help > Load Common License, and then select Common License tab.

   

3. Select Copy All License Info. The Copy license details window is displayed.
4. In the Copy license details dialog box, select one of the following options:
   • Copy: Copies the license information (to clipboard) that is required by Innowera for the allotment of the license file. Email the copied information to mag-innoweralicense@insightsoftware.com.
   • Email:Copies the license information directly to an Outlook email that you must send to mag-innoweralicense@insightsoftware.com.

   You will receive an email with the license details.

5. Copy the license files to a folder on the server computer.
6. In the License Directory section, browse to the folder containing the license files. The Browse for Folder window is displayed.
7. Select the license folder, and then select OK. The status of the loaded license, such as if the license is detected, is displayed in the License Detection Status table.
8. Select Load License. The message License loaded successfully is displayed.

Note: Alternatively, select the InnoweraWMS, Innowera Control Panel, or Innowera Dashboard tabs to request and load license for the specific product.
