Sign in or Sign out of Mobile Application
This section explains how to log in and log out of the mobile application.
Log in
User can log into the mobile app using any one of the two modes.
- Online:
- When user is connected to the network , and then clicks on Login in the app.
- When user logs in to app from his mobile device. User name, password, and device ID are passed to Innowera Web and Mobile Server, and are validated. If the login fails, message is displayed on the mobile device and user cannot proceed further.
- On successful login validation, the user is connected to Innowera Web and Mobile Server from his mobile device and the app update process is performed followed by Full Sync. Full sync include syncing of published process files and its related files from Innowera Web and Mobile Server server, while customer and material data are updated from SAP system.
- Offline: In offline mode, user details are validated from the local database of the app stored in the device. User has to log in with online mode at least once to work in offline mode. The user can remain in offline mode continuously for 7 days, after that he has to log in using the online mode once. Number of days allowed to work in offline mode can be changed from Innowera Web and Mobile Server.
Log out
When user logs out, the unsaved data is saved to draft folder and control is passed to login page.
