Step 2: Create and configure Web and Mobile Server Database Users

You shall create a database user for SQL Logins so that the appropriate Windows Domain user can have required level of access to Web and Mobile Server database. This is a required to be performed when you first time install Web and Mobile Server database. This step may also be required if you want to add/remove additional users at a later stage.

To create and configure Web and Mobile Server database users,

1. Select the default database INW_IWMS from the Databases in tree view.
2. Select INW_IWMS, right-click Users and select New User from popup menu.

   

3. Enter username and select the login name. We are using InnoUserGrp for example.
4. Select Browse in Select Login.
5. Select [INNSRT01\testuser] (the user created in section 1(A)) and select OK.

   

6. In the Select Login window, select the added user, and then select OK.
7. Select the read/write permissions and select OK in Database User – New screen.

   

8. The newly added user is displayed under Users node in INW_IWMS database.
