Step 2: Create and Configure Innowera EShare Database Users Group

We shall create database user for SQL Logins so appropriate Windows Domain user can have required level of access to Web and Mobile Server database. This step is always required to be performed when you first time install Web and Mobile Server database. This step may also be required if you want to add/remove additional users at a later stage.

To create and configure Web and Mobile Server database user group,

1. Select the default database INW_PRDB from the Databases in tree view.
2. Select INW_PRDB, right-click Users and select New User from popup menu.

   

3. Enter the username and select login name. For example: JSmith.
4. Select Browse in Select Login.
5. Select login “[LITWAREINC\InnoUserGrp]” (the user created in section 1(A)) and select OK.

   

6. Select the added user, and then select OK in the Select Login screen.
7. Select the read/write permissions and select OK in Database User – New screen.

   

8. The newly added group appears under Users section in INW_PRDB database.
