Send Process and Data Persistence in Offline or Online Mode

When user clicks Save, the record is saved in draft folder in device. If user wants to send the record, user must open it from draft and click Send to SAP.

Send to SAP Online

1. When user clicks Send to SAP, the record is saved in draft folder, and sent to SAP through Innowera Web and Mobile Server
2. If the transaction is successful, confirmation number from SAP is sent through Innowera Web and Mobile Server and record is saved in Send folder after updating the record with the confirmation number.
3. If the transaction fails (SAP or Innowera Web and Mobile Server is down or on any other network error), XML file is generated on the device and will be sent to the FTP server.  Thereafter, unique number is generated and the record on the device is updated with that number and is saved to Send folder.

Note: Send to SAP is not available when user logs in with offline mode. The device has a local database and data is first stored in that database, whether working in online or offline  mode. In case of online mode, if the user requests Send to SAP, data is sent to Innowera Web and Mobile Server for further processing to SAP.
