Back up Innowera Dashboard

Before you upgrade, you can back up the Innowera Dashboard database. As a best practice, back up your database at regular intervals.

For details about the Innowera Dashboard database configured previously, perform one of the following steps:

• Open a web browser and type http://<localhost>/InnoweraDashboard. Sign in with valid user name and password, and then go to Admin Settings > Export Configuration File.
• Open Innowera Dashboard Database Setup from Innowera Dashboard Database Configuration tool.

You can back up Innowera Dashboard database using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or using Backup SQL statement.

Back up Database Using SQL Server Management Studio

This section provides information on how to back up your Innowera Dashboard database using SQL Server Management Studio.

To back up Innowera Dashboard database,

1. Connect to the SQL Server using SQL Server Management Studio.

   

2. Expand the Databases tree. Select Innowera Dashboard database. Right-click the database > Tasks > Back Up. The Back Up Database window appears.
3. Select OK to create the backup of the database. To change the backup location, select Add, and specify the new location.

   

4. Alternatively, you can back up the Innowera Dashboardo database by writing the backup query in SQL Server Management Studio.
