Configure Secure Network Connection on SAP System

To configure SNC on the SAP system, add the Web and Mobile Server to the SAP system, and then map the Windows domain users with the SAP users.

To add Web and Mobile Server to SAP system,

1. Log on to SAP system using SAP GUI.
2. Run SNC0 transaction.

   

3. Select New Entries. The New Entries: Details of Added Entries page appears.
4. Enter the following details:
   • System ID: Enter system ID.
   • SNC Name: Specify the name of the server computer where Web and Mobile Server is installed.
     • Example: <IWMS_server_name>$@<domain_name>.com
5. Select Save. The Web and Mobile Server is added to SAP system.

To map domain users with SAP users

1. Run SM30 transaction.
2. Enter VUSREXTID in the Table/View box and select Maintain. The Determine Work Area: Entry dialog appears.
3. Enter NT in the External ID type box and select Append.

   

4. Select New Entries. The New Entries: Details of Added Entries dialog appears.

   

5. Enter external domain user ID in External ID box. Example: <Domain_name>\User.

   

6. Select SAP users to map against the external ID.
7. Select Save. The domain users are mapped with SAP users.
