Upgrade Innowera Dashboard

To upgrade, run the InnoweraDashboardSetup.exe and if required, provide the information about the existing database while configuring the database details.

To upgrade Innowera Dashboard,

1. Run InnoweraDashboardSetup.exe to start the upgrade process.

Note: Whatever application pool is selected by user while installation will be ignored, and new application pool will be created with required settings if does not exist and set for Innowera Dashboard.

2. After the successful installation of Innowera Dashboard, select Close to exit the wizard. Optionally, select the Launch Innowera Database Configuration Tool check box to launch the database configuration tool.

   

3. The Innowera Dashboard Database Configuration window appears. Make sure that following details indicate the correct database information.
   • Server: Indicates the IP address where the database is present.
   • Database: Indicates the name of the database of the previous version that you are upgrading from.
   • Authentication: Indicates the authentication mode used to connect to the database. SQL Server Authentication appears by default. If you are using SQL Server Authentication, user name and password is required. If you are using Windows Authentication, you must have the environment set up accordingly.
4. Select Create/ Upgrade Database. The information dialog box appears with a message stating that Innowera Dashboard database has been created or updated successfully.
