Request and Load Using IEWF Configuration Tool

The Easy Workflow license can be requested and loaded using the IEWF Configuration Tool.

To request the license,

  1. Open the IEWF Configuration Tool that is available on the desktop of the server system where the Easy Workflow service is installed.
  2. Select About. The About dialog appears.

  3. Select Copy Info. A dialog appears with options to either copy or email the license information.
  4. Select any of the following options, depending on whether Microsoft Outlook is installed on your system:

After you send the license request, insightsoftware support verifies the license request against the order received from your company and then sends an email to you or your internal license manager.

To load the license, ensure that you copy the license file (.iewflic) to the system where you have installed Easy Workflow and perform the following steps:

  1. Open the IEWF Configuration Tool on the desktop of the server system where the Easy Workflow service is installed.
  2. Select About. The About dialog appears.
  3. Select Load License.
  4. In the File Explorer window, select the license file (.iewflic) and select Open.
  5. Restart the Easy Workflow service. If the Easy Workflow service is installed on multiple servers, you must restart all the services individually for the changes in the new license to be reflected. You must load the license on the device where the primary service is installed. Otherwise, a warning dialog appears to indicate that you must make the current service running on the server device the primary service.
  6. Select one of the following options to continue to load the license:
    • Continue: Indicates that the current service running on the server system is made as the primary service and loads the license.
    • Cancel: Indicates that you must manually load the license from the server system where the primary service is installed.

Note: Alternatively, after you receive the license details, on the server system where the primary Easy Workflow service is running, you can copy the license file (.iewflic) to C:\Program Files\Innowera\Innowera Easy Workflow Service in case of a 32-bit operating system or to C:\Program Files(x86)\Innowera\Innowera Easy Workflow Service in case of a 64-bit operating system, and then restart the Easy Workflow service.
