Archive Easy Workflow Database
This section explains how to archive the Easy Workflow database using the Easy Workflow Service and Database Configuration Tool. You can archive logs and work items. The archive database must be on the same SQL Server database where the Easy Workflow database is configured.
When you install Easy Workflow for the first time and open the IEWF Configuration Tool, the Archive Database Task Scheduler Status section is disabled and is not ready to use. You need to enable the section to archive the Easy Workflow database.
To archive the Easy Workflow database,
- Open the IEWF Configuration Tool that is available on the desktop of the server system where the Easy Workflow service is installed. The Easy Workflow Service and Database Configuration Tool window appears.
- Enable archive functionality by providing the archive database name in Archive Database, and then select Create/Update Archive Database Only.
- Select Create/Update. A message is displayed to indicate that the archive database has been successfully updated.
- Configure the task scheduler as shown in the following screenshot because the Archive Database Task Scheduler Status is disabled by default.
The Archive Database Task Scheduler Status is in ready state.
