Configure EShare Service
After you run the Innowera EShare setup, you must also configure the service. You can configure Eshare Service only when you have installed using Without IIS (Self Contained) mode.
To configure Innowera EShare Service,
- Double-click the Innowera EShare Database and Service Configuration icon on the desktop of the server computer where Innowera EShare is installed. The Innowera EShare Database Service and Configuration Tool wizard appears. The X icon represents that the Innowera EShare Service is not running.
- Select Innowera EShare Service to configure the service settings. The Innowera EShare Service Configuration window appears.
In the Innowera EShare Service Configuration window, select Start > Save > Yes > Yes. The Innowera EShare Service will start running.

The Innowera EShare Service Configuration window also contains following information:
- Service Mode: Indicates the mode of service.
- Service Path: Indicates the path for the working folder of the corresponding Innowera EShare Service.
- Service Port: Indicates the port number that will be used to run the Innowera EShare Service.
- Restore Default Port: Select to reset the port and restore the default port.
- Service Status: Indicates whether the service displayed in the service mode is Stopped or Running.
- Optionally, select Service Log On to configure the logon settings of Innowera EShare Service i.e. set the local system account through which Innowera EShare Service must be started. The Innowera EShare Service Logon As window appears.
- Enter the following information:
- Local System account: Indicates that the LocalSystem account is used to start the Innowera EShare Service.
- This account: Indicates that the custom account is used to start the Innowera EShare Service. Enter the user name of the account through which the service must be started.
- Password: Enter the valid password applicable for the user name entered.
- Confirm Password: Enter the password again for confirmation.
- Select Close. The following screenshot represents successful connection to Innowera EShare Service. The screenshot also indicates that the Innowera EShare Service is running.
- To generate EShare configuration file (.icf), perform the following:
- On the Innowera EShare Database & Service Configuration window, select Tools > Generate EShare Configuration File. The Generate EShare Configuration window appears.
- Select Export, and select the location where the file must be generated to, on the local computer.
- Select OK > OK. The EShare database configuration file is generated.
