View ROI Report
This topic describes how to view the ROI report that gives you information about the total time and the cost saved by using Innowera products compared to the manual effort required to perform the same task. The ROI Report option is visible in the web application only if your role has the ROI Report option enabled in the role maintenance section.
As a performance measure, ROI provides a snapshot of profitability and must be used for information purpose only. For users having Process Runner 4.20.74.x and later, these values are passed automatically when a statistics file is uploaded. For users having older version of Process Runner, the values can be configured from the ROI Configuration page.
To view the ROI report,
- In Innowera Dashboard, select Reports > ROI Report. The ROI Report page is displayed.
- In the Product drop-down menu, select the products for which the report must be displayed.
- Select the Start Date and End Date to indicate the period for which the report must be displayed.
Note: Make sure that the date range you select does not exceed the value set in the Option Setting page. For information about the date range value, see Configure Option Setting. However, if you do not have access to the Option Setting page, contact your Innowera Dashboard administrator.
- Optionally, depending on your requirement, select the following options:
- Department: Indicates the department of the user who has uploaded the statistics and log files of the Process file.
- Windows User: Indicates the Windows domain user name of the user who has uploaded the statistics and log files of the Process file. This option is available only when you select a department.
- SAP System: Indicates the name of the SAP system that the user has used to upload the statistics and log files of the Process file.
- Process Type: Indicates the SAP technology of the statistics and log files of the Process file.
- Process Name: Indicates the name of the Process file of the statistics and log files. This option is available only when you select a process type.
- Select Go. Based on the filter parameters selected, the ROI summary is displayed with the following information:
- Total Savings: Indicates the cost savings made by using Innowera products when compared to the manual effort.
- Total Time Savings: Indicates the total time saved using the Innowera products.
- Users in Report: Indicates the total number of users.
- Licensed Users: Indicates the total number of users who can upload the statistics and log files to Innowera Dashboard.
- Expand ROI Module Wise Summary and ROI Report. The module-wise report displays the time and cost saving for individual modules for a given duration, and the ROI report displays the data for all the users indicated by Users in Report.
- To save the current filter parameters, select Save Current Filter Setting icon and provide a filter name for the filters that you specified; you can also use this saved filter later.
- If you want to choose from the available saved filters, select the Get Current Filter Setting icon, select a filter, and select OK. Based on the parameters of the saved filter, the report is displayed.
- To save the details of the ROI report to formats such as xls, pdf, rtf, or csv format, select the format, and then select the save button. By default, the file is saved in the Downloads folder of your computer.
- To modify the default configurations that are used by Innowera Dashboard to calculate the savings in time and money, select ROI Configuration. The ROI Configuration page appears. For information about how to configure the settings, see Set ROI Configuration.
