View Change Log

This topic describes how to view the Change Log page. The Change Log page records the changes that a user has made in the Role Maintenance and Manage Site User pages, such as creating, editing, and deleting a user or user role, of the Admin Settings section of Innowera Dashboard. The Change Log option is visible in the web application only if your role has the ChangeLog option enabled in the role maintenance section. The change logs contain information such as the person who made the change and the time of change. You can also export the change logs to a file.

To view export change logs,

  1. In Innowera Dashboard, select Admin Settings > Change Log. The Change Log - User page is displayed.
  2. Select User or User Role from the Object box.
  3. Optionally, filter the search result of your selected object. For example, if you have selected User in Object, you can filter the changes logs by the different users.
  4. Select the date from the Date Filter box, or provide a custom range, and then select Go. The list of change logs is displayed.

  5. Select Go. The change logs are displayed.
  6. Optionally, perform the following steps to export the change logs:
    1. Select one of the following options from the Export To box.
      • Microsoft Excel workbook
      • PDF
      • Microsoft Word document
    2. Select one of the following options from the Export Mode box:
      • All Expanded: Indicates that the filtered change logs with their complete information will be exported.
      • Currently Expanded: Indicates that the complete information of the selected change log, such as the user name and user role will be exported; the other change logs will not contain complete information in the exported document. In this mode, you must expand the change log whose complete information is required, and then export.

      • Non Expanded: Indicates that only the basic information of the filtered change log list will be exported.
    3. Select Export. The change logs with the specified filters and mode are exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your computer.
