Session Settings in Master Control

Sessions Settings option is available in User Groups and Users. This option controls the maximum number of Process Runner sessions allowed to a user.

Case 1: Session Settings as per Group

Settings applied at various levels are:

• User Name is set to Testuser and the user Testuser belongs to group Other
• User level = Sessions as per Group

Sessions settings defined at Group level will be considered and Testuser will be able to open two sessions of Process Runner. Error will be displayed on trying to open third session of Process Runner.

Error will be displayed on trying to open third session of Process Runner.

Case 2: Session Settings as per User

Settings applied at various levels are:

• User Name is set to Testuser and the user Testuser belongs to group Other
• User level = Sessions as set Below

Sessions settings defined at User level will be considered and Testuser will be able to open only one session of Process Runner. Error will be displayed on trying to open second session of Process Runner.

Error will be displayed on trying to open second session of Process Runner.
