Configure Process Runner Default Behaviour/Setting

This topic explains how to configure the options on the Process Runner Default Behaviour/Setting page to restrict Process Runnerand Process Runner DB usage.

To configure Process Runner, Process Runner DB setting,

1. To let users run any Process file or SAP system in Process Runner and Process Runner DB, perform the following steps:
   1. On the Process Runner Default Behaviour/Setting page, select 0-Full access mode.
   2. On Global Controls > Control Setting, select Enable group/user control.

      

   3. Select one of the following options:
      • To provide access to Process Runner and Process Runner DB for all users or user groups listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance, except the ones blocked in Master Data > Users, on Admin Settings > Options > Other User/Process/SAP System Settings > Other User Settings, clear Allow all users other than defined in Innowera Control Panel.

        

      • To provide access to Process Runner and Process Runner DB for all users or user groups listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance, on Admin Settings > Options > Other User/Process/SAP System Settings > Other User Settings, select Allow all users other than defined in Innowera Control Panel.

        

2. To allow users and user groups listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance to access Process Runner and Process Runner DB but not run any transactions in SAP, perform the following:
   1. On the Process Runner Default Behaviour/Setting page, select 1-Partial access mode.
   2. On Global Controls > Control Setting, select Enable group/user control.
   3. Select one of the following options:
      • To provide partial access to Process Runner and Process Runner DB for all users or user groups listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance, except the ones blocked in Master Data > Users, on Admin Settings > Options > Other User/Process/SAP System Settings > Other User Settings, clear Allow all users other than defined in Innowera Control Panel.
      • To provide partial access to Process Runner and Process Runner DB for all users or user groups listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance, on Admin Settings > Options > Other User/Process/SAP System Settings > Other User Settings, select Allow all users other than defined in Innowera Control Panel.
3.  An error message is displayed when a user or user group having partial access but listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance tries to access Process Runner or Process Runner DB.

   

4. To restrict the users or user groups that are not listed under Master Data > Users to access Process Runner or Process Runner DB, select 2-Inactive Mode. The following error is displayed when a user or user group not listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance tries to access Process Runner.

   

Note: By default, 0-Full access mode is selected.
