View Change Log

The Change Log feature records the changes that a user has made in the Role Maintenance and Manage Site Users pages of Admin Settings section and Users, User Groups, Processes, and SAP Systems pages of Master Controls sections of Innowera Control Panel. This feature is available to you, as a user, only if the administrator has enabled the Access to ChangeLog report option for your role in the Role Maintenance section of the GUI. When you create, edit, or delete a site user, user role, user, user group, process, or SAP system, the changes are recorded in the Change Log section of Innowera Control Panel. The change logs also contain information such as the person who made the change and the time of change. You can also export the change logs into a file.

To use Change Log,

  1. Select Site User, User Role, Users, User Groups, Processes, or SAP System from the Object box.
  2. Optionally, filter the search result of your selected object. For example, if you have selected Site User in Object, you can use the Site User filter to select a particular site user from the list.
  3. Select a date from the Date Filter box, or provide a custom range, and then select Go. The list of change logs appears.

  4. Optionally, perform the following steps to export the change logs:
    1. Select one of the following options from the Export To box.
      • Microsoft Excel workbook
      • PDF
      • Microsoft Word document
    2. Select one of the following options from the Export Mode box:
      • Expanded: Indicates that the filtered change logs with their complete information will be exported.
      • Currently Expanded: Indicates that the complete log information of a selected change log will be exported; the other change logs will not contain complete information in the exported document. In this mode, you must expand the log whose complete information is required, and then export. For example, when you expand a change log of a user role, and then export, only this log is exported with the complete information for the log, such as the old value and new value.

      • Non Expanded: Indicates that only the basic information of the filtered change log list will be exported.
    3. Select Export. The change logs with the specified filters and mode are exported in the specified format. By default, the exported file is saved in the Downloads folder of your computer.
  5. Select the Save icon. The logs with the filters specified is exported.
