Use Check Authorization

The Check Authorization page enables you to check the access of Process files and SAP systems of a Innowera Control Panel user.

To check the access rights,

1. Go to Admin Settings > Check Authorization. The Check Access Rights page appears.
2. Enter the name of a user in User ID.
3. Depending on whether you want to check all the access rights or the specific rights for a listed or non-listed Process file or SAP system or technology (Transaction, BAPI/RFM, GUI Scripting and Data Extractor), select one of the following options:
   • Check all access rights: Indicates that all the access rights for the user will be displayed.
   • Check selected access rights: Indicates that the access rights for selected options will be displayed.
4. If you have selected Check selected access rights, on the Check Access Rights section that appears, perform the following steps:
   1. If you want to check the access right of a user for a process, select the Process Rights option, and then select one of the following options:
      • Process Name: Enables you to check the access right of a process listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance.
      • Other Process: Enables you to check the access right of a process that is not listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance.
   2. If you want to further filter the access rights of the process as per process actions, such as design, run and test; select the Process Action option, and then select the process action from the list. This option is available only when the Process Rights option is selected.
   3. If you want to check the access right of a user for an SAP system, select the System Rights option, and then select one of the following options:
   • System ID: Enables you to check the access rights of an SAP system listed in your instance.
   • Other System: Enables you to check the access rights of an SAP system that is not listed in your Innowera Control Panel instance.
   4. If you want to further filter the access rights of the SAP system for a particular system action, select the System Action option, and then select the system action from the list. This option is available only when the System Rights option is selected.
   5. Select Date/Time Settings to filter the access requests for the user as per date, time, and time zone.
   6. If you want to check the access rights of a user for Transaction, GUI Script, Data Extractor or BAPI/RFM, select Process Technology, and select a technology.
5. Select Check Now. The list of Process file and SAP systems assigned to the user and the list of Process file and SAP systems that are pending for approval appears.

   

Note: User can access non-listed Processes and SAP Systems if the Allow all other processes that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel and Allow all other SAP system that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel options are selected for the user in Master Controls > Users.
