Release Lock Records

While editing a user, user group, process, or SAP System, if you navigate to another page, the object that is being edited gets locked, and therefore multiple Innowera Control Panel users are prevented from editing the same record simultaneously. You cannot delete records locked by other users. The Release Lock Records page lists all the locked records, and the page is visible in the web application only when the Access to Release Lock Records option is enabled for your role.

On this page, the records are arranged as per modules, which are user, user group, process, and SAP System. Also, the following information is displayed:

  • Names of the objects that are locked, such as the user name or user group name.
  • Names of the users who locked the object.
  • Time stamp that indicates when the record was locked.

You can unlock the records that you have locked from their associated pages under Master Controls. However, if your role has edit permission for the Access to Release Lock Records option, you can unlock the records locked by other Innowera Control Panel users, from the Release Lock Records page.

To unlock records,

  1. Go to Admin Settings > Release Lock Records. The Release Lock Records page appears.
  2. Select the records that you want to unlock and select Release. A message appears asking you to confirm whether you want to release the selected locked records.
  3. Select OK to unlock the records. Otherwise, select Cancel.
  4. Optionally, you can drag the columns to filter the list as per your requirement.
