Clear Control Panel/Clear Cloud Control Panel Cache
This topic describes how to clear the control panel cache in Process Runner Excel Add-in. The Clear Control Panel Cache or Cloud Control Panel Cache option appears under the Others section only if you have selected Enable Control Panel in the Tools > Options > Enterprise Settings > Control Panel tab. After selecting Enable Control Panel, if you have selected Service Configuration or Process Runner Cloud in the Connection Type drop-down list, the Clear Control Panel Cache and Clear Cloud Control Panel Cache options are displayed under the Others section, respectively.
To clear the control panel cache in Process Runner Excel Add-in, select Tools > Clear Control Panel Cache/Cloud Control Panel Cache.
Refresh Central Settings
This topic describes how to apply the settings of Transaction, RFM/BAPI, Scripting, Data Extractor, or Updates/Backup modules configured in the Central settings of the Cloud Control Panel in Process Runner Excel Add-in. The Refresh Central Settings option appears under the Others section only if you have selected Enable Control Panel in the Tools > Options > Enterprise Settings > Control Panel tab.
To apply central settings,
- Select Refresh Central Settings. The Cloud Control Panel Central Settingsdialog appears.
- Select OK. The settings configured in the Central settings section of the Cloud Control Panel are applied.
Note: When the account manager modifies the Central settings and sends the modified settings to desktop users, the Designer user is notified with the red-colored dot in the Refresh Central Settings icon. For Run only users, the changes are applied when you restart the application.
Note: A Designer user can modify the central settings applied for Transaction, BAPI/RFM, Scripting, Data Extractor, or Updates/Backup modules in Tools > Options. A Run only user cannot modify the central settings applied.
Refresh SAP Return Message Settings
This topic describes how to apply the settings configured in the SAP Return Message Settings of the Cloud Control Panel in Process Runner Excel Add-in. The SAP Return Message Settings option appears under the Others section only if you have selected Enable Control Panel in the Tools > Options > Enterprise Settings > Control Panel tab.
To apply SAP Return Message Settings,
- Select Refresh SAP Return Message Settings. The Cloud Control Panel SAP Return Message Settings dialog appears.
- Select OK. The settings configured in the SAP Return Message Settings section of the Cloud Control Panel are applied.

Start Task Manager
This topic describes how to use the Start Task Manager option to open the Windows Task Manager from the currently opened workbook and to view the programs and processes that are currently running on your computer.
To start the Task Manager, in Process Runner Excel Add-in, select Tools > Start Task Manager. The Task Manager window is displayed.
Attach File
This topic describes how to use the Attach File option to insert an object, such as a PDF file or a Word document, into the worksheet. The inserted file can be opened and accessed with the Excel workbook for reference or information purpose. By attaching files, you can link related files that must be read together with the workbook or worksheet.
To attach a file to Process file,
- In Process Runner Excel Add-in, open the Process file and select the cell in which you want to attach a file.
- Select Tools > Attach File. The Attach File window is displayed.
- In the File name box, browse to the file.
- Optionally, select Display as icon and in the Caption box, enter the text that must be displayed to indicate the attached file.
- Select OK. The attached object is displayed as an icon and with the caption that you have entered.
Autofix Tool
This topic describes how to use the AutoFix tool to automatically fix some of the settings of Process Runner Excel Add-in that enables you to use the product.
Note: You must contact insightsoftware Support before modifying any group of settings.
To run the Autofix tool,
- Select Start and enter AutoFix Tool in the search toolbar.
- On the General tab, select the following options:

Excel Setting: Helps to automatically fix the settings related to Excel that are essential for running the other insightsoftware products.
- Required folder to be run insightsoftware Products in logoff Mode: Restores the required settings for selection of the essential folder to run the other Magnitude products in offline mode.
- Required setting for convert Excel File to PDF using COM method for service user (Non Interactive User): Fixes the settings to its default values that are required to convert Excel file to PDF using the COM method for a service or non-interactive user.

SAP GUI Setting: Fixes the errors and retains default state of Process Runner Excel Add-in or GUI Scripting technology.
- Disable "Notify when GUI Script opens connection and attaches to SAP GUI" for current user:Bypasses the prompt that is displayed when insightsoftware GUI Scripting connection is established with SAP GUI for the current user.
- Disable SAP GUI Security to run insightsoftware Products in logoff mode for current user: Regains the access of insightsoftware products to run in log-off mode for the current user.
- Disable "Notify when a GUI Script opens connection and attaches to SAP GUI" for all user: Bypasses the prompt that is displayed when insightsoftware GUI Scripting connection is established with SAP GUI for all the users.
- Disable SAP GUI security to run insightsoftware Products in logoff mode for all user: Restores the required SAP GUI security settings to run insightsoftware products in log-off mode for all the users.
- Disable "Notify when a GUI Script opens connection and attaches to SAP GUI" for service user: Bypasses the prompt that is displayed when insightsoftware GUI Scripting connection is established with SAP GUI for a service or non-interactive user.
- Disable SAP GUI Security to run insightsoftware Products in logoff mode for service user: Regains the access of insightsoftware products to run in log off mode for a service or non interactive user.

EP/SSO Setting: Helps to autofix several EP/SSO related settings. Select the following option:
- Enable insightsoftware Products EP/SSO compatible with IE 11: Restores the required default settings that enables the EP/SSO of insightsoftware Products with Internet Explorer 11.

Excel Setting: Helps to automatically fix the settings related to Excel that are essential for running the other insightsoftware products.
- On the Excel Add-in tab, select the following options:

Load Behavior Setting: Sets the load behavior of Process Runner Excel Add-in and Process Runner tab is restored again in Excel.
- For Fix load behaviour of "Process Runner Excel Add-in" for current user, select Auto Fix. The load behavior is automatically fixed for the current user only.
- For Fix load behaviour of "Process Runner Excel Add-in" for all user, select Auto Fix. The load behavior is automatically fixed for all the existing users.
- Disabled Add-in Setting: Enables the Process Runner Excel Add-in from the disabled items list in Excel.
- Customization Installer Setting: Indicates if Process Runner Excel Add-in was installed in a custom location, in which case you cannot use the product.

Load Behavior Setting: Sets the load behavior of Process Runner Excel Add-in and Process Runner tab is restored again in Excel.
