User with Auto assign and Allow Other Process/SAP System option

A defined user can be assigned both listed and unlisted Processes or SAP system in Users page.

• Auto assign all allowed processes to this user and Allow all other processes that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel options when enabled assigns all the defined processes of Innowera Control Panel and  all other processes which are not defined in Innowera Control Panelel to the user.
• Auto assign all SAP systems to this user and Allow all other SAP system that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel options when enabled assigns all the defined SAP system of Innowera Control Panel and  all other SAP systems which are not defined in Innowera Control Panel to the user.

In this section we will see an example where Auto assign all processes and Allowed all other processes options are selected at user level and the user runs any process which is not listed in Innowera Control Panel. The user will be able to access other process.

1. In Master Controls > Users page, enable Allow all other processes that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel option, and record settings at user level is set to 15 as seen in the screenshot. Save the user settings.

   

2. Go to Master Controls > Processes page to see the list of defined processes.

   

3. Go to Admin Settings > Options > Other Process Settings. Allow all processes other than defined in Innowera Control Panel option is not selected. If SAP Call as per User/Group is selected, then it will use settings of defined user. Select Update to save the settings.

   Note: For undefined user, the settings at Other user settings will be considered.

   

4. Open Process Runner, and then run defined process (MM02) and undefined process ( e.g. MM01) which is not defined in Process Runner. User should be able to access both defined and undefined process.

   

Process Runner will allow to run only values defined in 'SAP call settings as per other Process' above mentioned options.

Note: If Options > Other Process Settings had maximum number of SAP call set as per below for other processes then it will be counted as per process.

Similarly if Auto assign all SAP Systems to this user and Allow all other SAP Systems that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel options are selected at user level and if user runs any process using any SAP System which is not listed in Innowera Control Panel then all the settings in Admin > Options > Other SAP system Settings will be applicable for that SAP system whether Allow all other SAP Systems that are not defined in Innowera Control Panel is selected or not.
