Configure Email Settings

Email Configuration in Admin Settings section of Innowera Control Panel helps the user to configure the email settings.

You can also configure email settings from Tools > Email Outgoing Configuration option in Innowera Control Panel Database Configuration tool. For more information, see Innowera Control Panel Installation Guide.

To configure email settings,

  1. Expand Admin Settings from left panel, and then select Email Configuration. The Email Configuration page appears.
  2. To enable the email configuration settings, select Enable Email Configure.
  3. Enter the following details in the fields:
    Options Description

    Account Type

    Select the account type of the email. If the drop down menu lacks the required account type, then configure it manually through 'Custom' option.

    Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP)

    Enter the email accounts host server address.

    Outgoing Server(SMTP) Port

    Enter the port number to send/receive emails.

    Use the type of encrypted connection

    Select the type of encryption when configuring a custom account. Ensure to acquire guidance from mail service provider for the same.

    Email Address

    Enter the email address for new incoming/outgoing mails.

    Password

    Enter the password of the email account.

    Update

    Select this button to update the email configuration settings.

    Test Email ID

    Enter the contact email address to receive the test mail notifications.
