Get Engine Information Using GETFORMAT

GETFORMAT when used in email allows user to look for all the Engine Format Keywords specified for the different processing engines configured in Email Runner. When engine format keyword is sent along with the GETFORMAT to the email address specified in incoming email settings of Email Runner, details related to the engine are sent in response. The email is also displayed in the Sent items of Email Runner Inbox.

1. Open an email in Outlook. Enter the incoming email address defined in Email Runner and in the Subject field, enter GETFORMAT. Send the mail to receive details of all the engines defined in Email Runner.

   Note: The details of engine as seen in Step 2 will be received even if mails are sent without any subject line.

2. The names of the engines defined in Email Runner with their Format Keyword are received in user's mail.

   

   Note: The Format Keyword for the engines displayed in response mail is hyperlink, clicking on them allows getting details of respective engine (as seen in step 4) by clicking Send.

   

3. User can also send requests with the subject line containing GETFORMAT<Engine format keyword>. For example, GETFORMAT MM02.
4. The details of MM02 SAP process engine will be sent to the user in the reply to the request.

   

   Users can then fill in the details and send it to Email Runner for further processing to SAP.
