Use SAP Process Engine MM02 – Change Material

MM02 – Change Material

In this example, we will be using SAP Process engine to update the data for a material in SAP.

To update the data for a material in SAP,

1. Select Engine > define SAP Process Engine for MM02 – Change Material. Select the process file and enter the details as shown in the screenshot. Set the SAP Process Engine as Active.

   

2. Select Generate XML.
3. In the Email Template window select Send Email.
4. Enter the details for the Material Number, Gross Weight and Net Weight. Select Send.

   

5. An email is sent to Email Runner Inbox which is then processed and on successful processing the mail is displayed in Success Box > SAP Process Engine. The Result details can be viewed post email processing.

   

6. Login to SAP GUI and verify the records in SAP using MM03 transaction code. The material will be created successfully.

Send report as attachment for MM60 – Material List

In this example, we will be using SAP Process engine to send report in mail as an attachment.

To send report in mail as an attachment,

1. Select Engine > define SAP Process Engine for MM60. Select the process file and enter the details. Set the SAP Process Engine as Active and select Do not display for the fields which are hidden in Mapper. The XML template will not display such fields.

   

2. Select Advance Settings and select option to send report as attachment in email. Set Field1 and Field2 to use values specified in Default Value column and select OK.

   

3. In the Email Template window, select Send Email. The email with attached SAP report in text format will be received as shown in screenshot.
