Cloud License Loading and Features
This section is applicable only if your organization is using the Platform license model. For information about the Process Runner Cloud license model, contact insightsoftwaresupport.
As an administrator, you can sign into the Process Runner Cloud application to create roles and assign users to use Easy Workflow:
- For an existing customer, database is already configured. Perform the following steps to load the Process Runner Cloud license for Easy Workflow:
- Open the IEWF Configuration Tool. The Easy Workflow Service and Database Configuration window appears.
- Select the Help dropdown menu and select Process Runner Cloud Information. The Process Runner Cloud Information window appears.
Note: The Process Runner Cloud Information window will appear only if the current database version is 2.1.21 or newer. Refer to the license screenshot shown below.
- Enter the Organization Name, Email Id, and Configuration Key details and select Save. A message asking you to restart the service appears.
- Select Yes, to automatically restart the service and load the license. Alternatively, if you want to manually restart the service later, click No. After restarting the service, you can view the license information by opening the IEWF Configuration Tool.
- To view the license information after restarting the service, open the IEWF Configuration Tool, click on the Help dropdown, and click About.
- Perform the following steps to configure a new database. If you are an existing customer, the database is already configured.
- Open the IEWF Service Tool.
- Select Easy Workflow Service and Database Settings. The Easy Workflow Database window appears.
- Enter the Server and Database details.
- Select the Test Connection button.
- Select the Create/Update button. A message asking you to restart the service appears.
- Select Yes, to automatically restart the service and load the license. Alternatively, if you want to manually restart the service later, click No.
- To view the cloud license information, click on Help dropdown menu and select About.
- You can also view the license information by accessing one of these products:
- Excel Add-In: Open Excel-Add-In, select Process Runner > Help>About.
- Easy Workflow Cockpit: Open Excel Add-In, select Tools (Workflow) > Easy Workflow Cockpit > Others > About
- Perform the following steps to allow an existing Process Runner Cloud user of Excel Add-In to access Easy Workflow:
- From the Help dropdown, select Process Runner Cloud Logon from the dropdown menu. The Process Runner Cloud Logon dialog appears with user details.
- Select Logout.
- Open the Process Runner Cloud Logon dialog again and sign into the application.
- Use the credentials and enter the user’s email and password.
- If the user is not added to the Easy Workflow Cockpit, then Current User appears in red color.
- To add a new user to Easy Workflow Cockpit, perform the following steps:
- Select Tools (Workflow) > Easy Workflow Cockpit.
- In the Login page, enter Password.
- From the Easy Workflow Dashboard, select Users from the left pane.
- Select Add. The Manage User window appears.
- In the Manage User window, enter the User Id and Display Name details.
- If loaded Easy Workflow license is cloud model, then only it will display as 'User Id', otherwise it will display as 'Windows User Id'.
- Close the Easy Workflow Cockpit.
- If you open Tools(Workflow)> Easy Workflow Cockpit again, the Login screen now shows the Current User in green color, confirming that the user is added to Easy Workflow Cockpit.
