User Profile
You can change your account password and can set the security questions to retrieve the password in case you forgets your password.
The User Profile page appears at the drop-down menu of your display name at the top-right corner after you sign in. You can update your display name and sign in details.
Change Password
To change your sign in password,
- Select Admin, and then select the User Profile from drop-down list.
- Enter the old password and then enter the password which you want to update with.
- Select Update Password.
Password Recovery Questions
You can add security questions and answers to retrieve if your forget your password. These question and answers are user defined and can be changed later by the user. Innowera Dashboard allows you to set two security questions.
To select the question,
- Go to Admin > User Profile > Password Recovery Questions tab.
- Select the question from the drop-down menu and enter the answer.
- Select Save. The password recovery question and answer details are updated.
Note: If user has already set the Password Recovery Questions then the password can be directly retrieved from the Forgot password? link in Site login page.
To set new password,
- Select Forgot password link. Enter your user name and select Submit in the Password Recovery window.
- Enter one by one the answers to your security questions and set the new password to sign in to Innowera Dashboard.
- Select Click here for login link to sign in to Innowera Dashboard with the new password.
When you logs into Innowera Dashboard for the very first time and has not set password recovery questions, a message Your password self recovery questions needs to be maintained. Please do so or you may continue without maintaining them at this time appears in the landing page as shown in the following screenshot.
Selecting Please do so link takes the you to Password Recovery page to set Question 1 , Question 2 and answers to these questions. If you select continue link, the message does not appear, but when you logs out and logs back into Innowera Dashboard, the message appears again.
Enable Two Factor Authentication
You can configure Two factor authentication for users who have enabled password and configured outgoing email. To set-up a pattern of behavior related to emails, user should configure email settings.
To configure the email settings,
- Expand the Admin Settings menu on the left panel and select Email Configuration.
- Enable the configuration settings and enter the required details:

Account Type
Select the account type of the email. If the drop down menu lacks the required account type, then configure it manually through 'Custom' option.
Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP)
Enter the email accounts host server address.
Outgoing Server(SMTP) Port
Enter the port number to send/receive emails.
Use the type of encrypted connection
Select the type of encryption when configuring a custom account. Ensure to acquire guidance from mail service provider for the same .
Email Address
Enter the email address for new incoming/outgoing mails.
Password
Enter the password of the email account
Update
Select this button to update the email configuration settings.
Test Email ID
Enter the contact email address to receive the test mail notifications. Two test mail notifications (one from Innowera Easy Workflow Cockpit and other from Innowera Service) will be received.
- Select Send Test mail. If the test mail is successfully sent, then a pop-up confirming the same appears.
- If test mail is successfully sent then a pop-up message appears.
- Select Update to update the email configuration settings. A confirmation message appears.
- Switch back to User Profile from drop-down menu of Admin and select Enable Two Factor Authentication tab.
- Select Enable two factor authentication on Email ID option and enter the email id to receive verification code.
- Select Turn On.
Note: Email id is must to activate two factor authentication, if Email ID field is left blank then an error will be reflected.
A confirmation code will be sent to the specified email id.
Note: If you have not received yet then please click Resend code and wait for a while to receive email again.
- Once mail is received, copy and paste the confirmation code in the Verification code box and select Verify.
- A message stating two stage authentication is enabled successfully appears
- Launch Innowera Dashboard to verify the two stage authentication.
- Enter the User Name and Password, select Login.

As we have enabled two-stage authentication, in the Security Code field, enter the code that is sent to the given email ID during configuration.
- Select Submit to verify the two factor authentication and log in successfully.
Note: Verification code is valid only for 15 minutes and can be used once only.
