Configure Innowera Dashboard

You can configure Innowera Dashboard in Process Runner, Process Runner DB, or Process Runner Excel Add-in. As an example, the following procedure explains how to configure the Innowera Dashboard settings in Process Runner.

To configure Innowera Dashboard in Process Runner,

  1. Open Process Runner, and select TOOLS > Options > Enterprise Settings > Innowera Dashboard.
  2. Select Enable Innowera Dashboard. The options in the window are available.

  3. Optionally, select Copy from EShare. The configurations of the EShare tab are copied to the Database Setting of Innowera Dashboard tab.
  4. Note: Copy from EShare is available only when EShare in the Options window is selected.

  5. If you select Import Configuration Details, specify the path of DashboardConfig.icf file to configure Innowera Dashboard in Process Runner. The configuration information about Innowera Dashboard appears in the different boxes of Database Setting or Service Setting.
  6. Note: You must get the DashboardConfig.icf file from your Innowera Dashboard administrator.

  7. If you select Database Configuration in Connection Type, enter the following details:
    • Database Server name or IP: Indicates the host name or IP address where Innowera Dashboard is installed. Specify the port number if you are not using the default value of 1433 by including a comma after the IP address or host name. For example, 199.xx.yy.xxx, 11111
    • Database Name: Indicates the name of the Innowera Dashboard instance.
    • Authentication mode: Indicates the authentication mode that must be used to connect to Innowera Dashboard. For SQL Server Authentication, user name and password are also required.
  8. If you select Service Configuration in Connection Type, enter the following details:
    • URL: Indicates the URL of the Innowera Dashboard instance.
    • Use Default: Indicates that the default credentials are used to sign in to Innowera Dashboard. The User and Password boxes are not available for this option.
    • User Defined: Indicates that the domain name and password are used to sign in to Innowera Dashboard. Make sure that you get the domain credentials from your administrator.
  9. Perform one of the following steps: Select Test Connection. The configuration details are verified.
  10. In Upload Timing, select one of the following options:
    • Manually: Indicates that you must upload the record manually.
    • End of each Run: Indicates that the record will be uploaded automatically after successful run of the Process file.
    • On Exit: Indicates that if an error occurs in the first collective run file during execution, then Process Runner will log the error in a log file and continue the run of other files in the collective run.
  11. Optionally, select Upload New Records Only. Only the new records are uploaded, and therefore replication of the records is eliminated.
  12. Select OK. The Innowera Dashboard configuration details are saved.
